We came for a weekend wedding, first staying in a chain hotel in town and on sunday night we moved to this beautiful Inn. Loved everything about this. so quaint and comfortable. Staff accommodated everything we needed. Amenities are lovely. Beds were soo comfy we honestly felt like we were at home...and the location is perfect!! walking distance to the orvis store and other shopping all on sidewalks. Yoga classes half mile down at Heart of the village yoga is excellent and varied and times were good with our schedule. get there!! Hilldene worth the trip too. wish we could have stayed for Pop Up dinner with Tiara and Frank!

Room Tip: we had black eyed susan with a porch!

Stayed here for just 1 night while touring around New England, and found it to be a good location for exploring the Green Mountains. We booked the Primrose suite but didn’t like the layout, the small bathroom is sandwiched between the bedroom & lounge, so it didn’t feel like a suite as you can’t freely move from one room to the other if your partner is using the bathroom. Both rooms connect to the public corridor so you can move between the rooms that way, but then you have to carry a key with you. We asked if we could move to a different room and were swapped into the Wood Lily Suite. This was priced the same, but was much, much nicer – a large bedroom, nice size lounge, a large bathroom, and a private corridor connecting the 3 rooms. We were very happy in this room, well-furnished and great bed linen, the only negative is that the TV is very small for the size of the room. Breakfast was very tasty, freshly cooked to order.
For dinner we ate at Mulligan’s Restaurant just across the road, and found the food delicious.

Room Tip: Go for the Wood Lily suite rather than the Primrose suite

The Inn at Manchester is located close to Manchester village, and offers comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. We loved the decor- it exudes old world charm. The Wifi worked great and the staff are warm and welcoming and gave us great tips to explore the area. They recommended the covered bridges self driving tour which we really enjoyed. We stayed one night at the inn and left feeling we wanted to come back.

I travelled from Ireland with my fiancee and we were treated incredibly well before we even left home, getting assistance with planning months early. When we arrived the Inn surpassed our expectations in terms of quality, service and the beautiful setting. I can't recommend it highly enough, an incredible location in a picturesque town.

James, it was our honor to have you both here! Wish we could have made the weather cooperate a little bit better but it was a special day all the same! Next time you're in the states, we hope you'll come back and see us!

The inn comprised a picturesque set of buildings in well maintained gardens. Our accommodation (Primrose), located in the main house, was made up of a bedroom, separate study and small shower room. All charmingly furnished and comfortable.

Communal rooms included two lounges, dining room, and a bar. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was the only meal available and was nicely presented, although there were no choices available.

The Manchester area is ‘picture postcard’, and with much to do locally. The Skyline Drive and Hildene House are both worth a visit.

Highly recommended.
