Friendly service, cozy place. Food was good. Beer / wine list looked good, although we refrained following a day of visiting breweries.

Very nice concept but horrible food.
Don’t eat there, it was so bad we left all food in plates, we paid and we left.
Of course nobody asked why our plates were full( they already new that the food was old and horrible)

Worst food ever!

While spending the weekend at The Inn at the Long Trail in Killington, we ate at the Harvest Moon on a Saturday night on the recommendation of Owen our pub bartender. What a good choice! We have eaten at many restaurants in the area and this was by far one of the best. The menu is varied with pastas and homemade sauces, chicken, fish, steak dishes etc. We ordered two different steak dinners, salmon with a maple syrup and mustard seed glaze, and chicken Marsala. As an appetizer we asked for a cup of their marinara sauce with bread for dipping. Yum! Next we each had excellent, fresh salads with unusual cafe made dressings before our entrees. Each meal came with perfectly seasoned carrots with tarragon and a choice of potato. The entrees were good, but both the steaks and the salmon were a bit overdone. When we mentioned this to our friendly and efficient waitress, she was concerned. Next thing we knew the chef came out and apologized and we were given a wonderful dessert on the House! Such a nice touch, after a very pleasant and delicious meal! We will definitely return to the Harvest Moon on our yearly trip to Vermont!

Totally ignored for 15 minutes after being shown to our table. One waitress on a busy Sunday doesn't do it. Had to get up and ask for the bill after again being ignored when we completed our meal.
The food was great but they need to work on customer service.

We ate here over a year ago and I wasn't that impressed with the food. We tried it agai and had a much better experience. This time it was us and another couple. Everyone ordered something different, and there wasn't a single complaint at the table. We were seated at a much better table this time - a high table towards the back. It was really nice. The shrimp pesto marinara linguini was rich and flavorful, the lemon basil chicken was outstanding, the chicken parm was huge, and the last item ordered was a bayou burger.which was awesome. The only complaint was that the linguini was listed on the special menu and it said it came with a Caesar salad, but didn't notice until after we finished and left that it was never brought to the table. Other than that, the food was really great, though the service is very laid back. Come ready to talk and take your time.
