This Inn, bar and restaurant is just across the alley from Simon Pearce along the river and is all the thing if you want to go to Quechee to visit the Simon Pearce glass factory and have a great place to stay, eat, and drink! We spent 2 nights at Parker House to visit the mill and the surrounding areas - this is the place to go. The owner couple are as friendly as they come and will treat you like royalty. The Inn is spacious and rooms adequate for the purpose we had of spending the night but being away all day doing other things like hiking and walking the small towns. The Parker House breakfasts were bountiful next to a nice cozy fire in the fireplace, and dinner on the back porch was wonderful with a sunset view! In fact, we dined at Simon Pearce restaurant the second night - after having our first night dinner at the Parker house - Parker House has a better meal with better service and a smaller bill at the end of the evening! But certainly try Simon Pearce food but do the lunch vs. dinner service and go to the Parker House for dinner instead. You will not regret it! ... oh, by the way - always do the speed limit in these parts as the police are happy to make their quotas giving out speeding tickets for 5 over the limit while hiding around a corner - we used Waze and managed to avoid any tickets, and we kept to the speed limit or lower. Don't worry, every place we went they provided this same advise... don't speed.

The Parker House has excellent food and service. in the warm weather, they offer outdoor dining on the deck with a view of the River and frequently hot air balloons launched from the Quechee Green. For qualify of food, fun atmosphere, and value for your money, you can't beat the Parker House. We dine there regularly with guests and always enjoy it.

The food was excellent from the sea bass to the rack of lamb. Drinks were not mixed according to requests but not sure if that was the wait staff or bartender. Be VERY specific!

I'm so glad we stopped here on our drive through Quechee, Vermont. The Parker House Inn Restaurant is really great. We sat out on the porch and enjoyed the view. Our server was attentive but didn't rush us. We ordered salads and burgers, and they were fresh and delicious, prepared just right. I hope we get back there again soon.

So we were supposed to be a party of 5 but ended up with 2. They had a beautiful table all set up for us in front of the fire, with olives and water (olives were delish!). I had the filet (excellent) and they actually made my son chicken piccata, even though it wasn't on the menu. I had a delicious signature martini, a twist on a cosmo, which was awesome. We also had an appetizer of pulled pork on a small tostado with guacamole and a fantastic dessert- a blueberry tart with an almond paste....I could've eaten a second one. Waitress was great, as was the host. Fantastic dining experience!
