This Inn, bar and restaurant is just across the alley from Simon Pearce along the river and is all the thing if you want to go to Quechee to visit the Simon Pearce glass factory and have a great place to stay, eat, and drink! We spent 2 nights at Parker House to visit the mill and the surrounding areas - this is the place to go. The owner couple are as friendly as they come and will treat you like royalty. The Inn is spacious and rooms adequate for the purpose we had of spending the night but being away all day doing other things like hiking and walking the small towns. The Parker House breakfasts were bountiful next to a nice cozy fire in the fireplace, and dinner on the back porch was wonderful with a sunset view! In fact, we dined at Simon Pearce restaurant the second night - after having our first night dinner at the Parker house - Parker House has a better meal with better service and a smaller bill at the end of the evening! But certainly try Simon Pearce food but do the lunch vs. dinner service and go to the Parker House for dinner instead. You will not regret it! ... oh, by the way - always do the speed limit in these parts as the police are happy to make their quotas giving out speeding tickets for 5 over the limit while hiding around a corner - we used Waze and managed to avoid any tickets, and we kept to the speed limit or lower. Don't worry, every place we went they provided this same advise... don't speed.
