The locals go here. It's gotta be good. Had a great Capicola sandwich. Meat was piled high. Great place to get your lunch for the day.

We stopped in to pick up supplies for a picnic at sunset rock. We were so happy we did. Great cheeses, fresh bread as well as basic grocery store fare.
Great sandwich values and nicely made subs. The "VG" is basically a convenience store like the 7-11 chain. The VG does have a kitchen that does turn out delicious subs and sandwiches. In the morning you can get scrambled eggs and other standard breakfast items. There is a wrap around porch with tables and chairs. Atmosphere inside and outside could be easily improved with a scrub down and a fresh coat of paint. Yes, they do have the Cremme soft ice cream.
A splendid little stop for all those little accouterments one needs for a vacation visit. Nice sandwiches, great selection of beers, large selection of supplies, wonderful, fresh french bread! Quick, efficient, personable service...!
We ordered turkey and Vermont cheese sandwiches on a roll and were amazed to see how large they were. We probably could have split one between the two of us. My husband ordered French fries, which was on special for only a dollar with any sandwich, and there were enough to feed three or four people. They also sell homemade pizza and soups, and convenience items. We got there just in time, because while we were eating our food, the line of locals got quite long.
