Room 201 is directly over the boiler room we checked in on the Friday afternoon Boiler was not working. not fixed until the Wednesday so with electric haters the room temperature was just OK. The room is of good size but kitchen could do with so remodelling. We managed . The staff were very helpful its clean and tidy but showing its signs of aging.

We visited when it was called seasons resort at sugarbush.
I certainly hope the new owners completely refurbish the whole building as when we visited at the end of Sept 15
the room was filthy, dirty carpets, stains all over mesh on both doors to balcony main door to balcony didn't lock and a piece of metal was used to stop the door from opening. The balcony was dirty, paint peeling of the woodwork they didn't even sweep all the leaves off before we arrived.
Nothing worked in the kitchen apart from the fridge, the cooker was rusty all over. You could never find anybody to sort anything in fact l think the manager was the only staff and she would go out all day at times, everyone was complaining about the state of the place. There was supposed to be a room you could borrow dvds from, we went to find 4 dvds they were all childrens cartoons.
We left after 4 days, couldn't stand it any longer.
Vermont is beautiful and we spent as much time away from resort as possible visiting Waitsfield, Stowe etc

The Seasons in Warren, VT was such a disappointment we cut our visit to the Mad River area short by a day and a half. No access for older, less mobile guests and no assistance with bags. Room temp on arrival was at least 85 degrees. The thermostat, which was at least 50 years old, did not work. When we went down to ask for assistance we were told there was a box fan in our closet and to open the sliding door and use the fan to blow cold air in. No effort to come up and check this out. The rooms looked nothing like the photos. It was clean but very cramped.

The Warren and Mad River areas are well worth a visit just don't stay here

Room Tip: Loft room looks best from photos.

Calling this a resort is a stretch. It is one building that has a couple dozen rooms at best. On the upside the staff is very friendly and the hotel does have a pool out back and a nice view out from the decks. However, for each positive they had it seemed like they had a negative to accompany the positive. They have a hot tub but it is located on the front porch near the main entrance. They also have a coin operated laundry but it only has one washer and one dryer. The workout room is downstairs, has no windows, and lacks a treadmill. However it is the rooms that drag this facility down. No air conditioning. Not an issue for most of the year but when we visited, it made the rooms simply uncomfortable for several nights. They tried to overcome this weakness with two box fans but the cords were too short to sit beside the sliding glass door and pull cool air in. The bathrooms were super duper small. To use the bathroom in either of our rooms you had to enter, move to the side, close the door, then do you business. Furnishings were worn but the beds were comfortable. Both rooms had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. However, due to the size of the bathrooms and the lack of air, I would not return.

Having read some of the earlier reviews, I expected a rather outdated "resort," with basic amenities. I'm happy to report that super friendly manager Michael Martinez and family have been very busy updating almost every aspect of this lovely place. It is clean, it's comfortable, and it is quiet.

Situated on scenic Rte. 100, between the towns of Warren and Waitsfield, the Seasons Resort is conveniently close to all the attractions the Mad River Valley has to offer. The Warren Falls and the (almost world famous) Warren Store are only a few minutes away, and there are lots of trails and water holes to explore.

We -a group of two families- stayed in rooms 302, 303, and 304. #304 has a separate bedroom, and we all had dinner together in the living room/kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and we had some of the best night's sleep in a long, long time. On a clear night, star gazers will marvel at the sky!

The pool in the back and the hot tub in front were spotless, and most days it felt like we had the place to ourselves. If you'd like to play tennis, bring your own balls and rackets because previous guests decided to take them home. There are only a few DVD's left in the library, but you can rent more movies at the Tempest bookstore in Waitsfield.

All rooms have a TV and DVD-player, free Wi-Fi, and fans are provided, though we didn't need them during our stay. Please take note that the info on the Seasons website isn't always accurate, because the new manager has no way to maintain it.

All in all we enjoyed our stay tremendously, and we hope to be back when it's time to hit the ski slopes!

Room Tip: There is no elevator, so, if you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the ground floor.
