2nd time eating here....both for breakfast. The first time here we said, can't wait to come back. I must say...my first question was: do they have a new chef? Ingredients were not the quality we had before.

Service was still good as usual.

Thank fjon

Ate here on a Friday morning as we were leaving Vermont. Food was very good. I had a breakfast sandwich; my husband had an omelet. Both done well, but nothing special. Coffee is excellent. Definitely a choice that the locals make. Noticed some gentlemen enjoying a Heady Topper with their breakfast (not judging...just making note that they serve Heady Topper!) Did wish that the server was a little quicker with coffee and refills, but all in all a very good experience.

Regardless if you're traveling the Interstate (89), or in Burlington or Stowe, or a local - you gotta try Maxi's.
In Waterbury, at Exit 10 (head South 1/2 mile at the traffic circle).

We went for breakfast; the eggs were one of the best ever had.
The omelette was typical with cooked ingredients and egg flipped over but the cooking was moist and fluffy and the ingredients were plentiful & saluted warm - not dry and cool as you have experienced someplace before.
Had scrambled spinach w/mushroom & cheddar. Buttery, moist, sweet eggy flavor. Superb.

Service was efficient and attentive.
Decor is (as photos show) rustic but comfortable. Enjoyed the sun thru the eastern windows. Ample parking.

Good find (thanks Google & TripAdvisor) - Yummy!!

One of the better places for casual, unpretentious dining in Central Vermont. Fresh, tasty, ample and affordable. Fun for one or a group, the staff are professionally attentive and reliable.
A regular (as regular as I am) diner at both their breakfasts and lunches, I've never been disappointed,
