This is the place to enjoy good smoked and grilled meats, either beef, pork or chicken cooked to perfection. The selection of beers from their own mini brewery is fantastic. Excellent combination for a good meal accompanied by business partners.

Stopped here for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. The place was very crowded and noisy. There were five of us and surprisingly were seated within five minutes. The food was pricy and average at best. The beer selection was excellent. We felt like we were being rushed out of the place and the waitress refused to separate our checks for reasons unknown

We were recently back in the area for a weekend of hiking and dined here twice for dinner. It's the place we dine when we arrive to the Waterbury/Stowe area because it's located conveniently near the exit off of I 89. Both the hubby and I start looking forward to dining here a few days before our trip because we can't wait to get their decadent mac and cheese made with Cabot's artisanal cloth bound cheddar and baby Swiss. You can get it topped with a few things but we get it topped with their chopped pork. We each start off with salads. The mac and cheese is so filling we get a full second meal out of it. The second visit we had the chopped pork platter and beef brisket platter. The BBQ's have a choice of 4 types of sauce. I prefer the Eastern Carolina or the bacon BBQ. The service is always first rate. Expect to wait in the weekends cause the place is busy. But it's so worth it!

After touring different attractions in the area, we stopped for lunch at this establishment. We both had a pork sandwich with coleslaw. I had the cheddar grits and my husband had the baked beans. The food was very tasty. Even though we didn't have any liquor, we did notice their great bourbon selection.

Food was excellent, I tried the beef brisket and have to say it's one of the best to date for me not being dry at all. Duck fat fried fries were tasty. Beer brewed on location was well and on point for VT standards.
