The food was amazing. The restaurant is small, but everyone is so friendly. This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the area. Highly recommend

I loved the location--we dined at night and we could hear a mountain creek roaring in the distance. The building and the restaurant had lots of character. This seems to be a family run restaurant and everyone was so nice, including the other guests. (I felt like I was back in the midwest) We enjoyed the festive salad and we split a pizza and it was delicious. This place is very warm and welcome and I would like to return.

A small group of us went to The Eatery on New Year's Eve. We couldn't have been happier. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly and the service was great! Of course the food was fantastic as well. Overall a great evening out.

We've also been there for their wonderful pizza. Their menu uses as much locallly grown food as possible in all their dishes. There is a wide variety of options no matter which menu you are there to enjoy.

Lovely setting. Friendly service. Very good food. Eclectic clientele -- locals mixed with second home owners from Mass and CT and NY. Child friendly. Went last night and sat at the bar (they take reservations but we tried to book too late). The eatery is along a dark stretch of Dover Road (connecting Newfane and Dover) that is beautiful at night as many of the homes are elegantly decorated with XM lights in the Season. The Eatery jumps out as a lone, welcoming and homey place along this dark and winding albeit beautiful stretch of vintage Vermont.
