I am happy to echo all of the other reviews regarding the lovely and peaceful Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. The room was more than comfortable (we stayed in the Hunt room), the grounds were spectacular, and the food was delicious. It's everything all the other glowing reviews say it is. It's a perfect place if you want a quiet retreat from the busy world.

I want to add a special note regarding the hosts. On the day we were supposed to check-in, we had to go to the hospital unexpectedly. We ended up in the ER for far too long and didn't make it out to the Inn that night. Tim emailed to check up on us and, when we got our bill, we discovered that he had reimbursed us for the missed night. We did not ask him to give us our money back, but he did anyway. We look forward to staying at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm every time we visit the area ... it's not only a great inn, it's an inn run by truly great people.

It was a last minute idea to go away for the weekend, and we wanted to take our 4.5 mo. old puppy with us. I found The Inn at SHF on line and took a chance--although the high marks on Trip Advisor gave me confidence that I hadn't made a terrible decision. Although I've been a dog parent for my whole adult life, I'd never taken one on a B&B weekend. I figured that the Inn would be nice enough, but since doggies were allowed, perhaps not too nice. What we found was a beautiful landscape, a lovely manor house and a wonderful farmhouse where the dogs are allowed to stay with their humans. Tim and Dina could not have been friendlier or more helpful when we discovered a nail in the tire of our car on Sunday morning. Breakfasts are delicious! I couldn't recommend this place more highly for people with or without their dogs! We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the proprietors, Tim and Dina are exceptionally nice! I would love to visit again in the fall season.

My fiance and I got engaged here! There was a beautiful view of the sunset from the balcony. We stayed in the Hunt Country Room which has a fireplace and overlooks the hollow. The inn keepers were very accommodating and their husky is a beautiful dog! They were great about suggesting places to go and knew about places with live music. Coffee is available before breakfast is served so we were able to get up early every morning and enjoy the sunrise. Their family style serving options were great for breakfast and their biscuits on Sunday morning are delicious. We will be coming back here for an anniversary!

Room tip: Be sure to pay attention to the room descriptions. Each room offers something different. e.i. fireplaces, hot tubs...

It was a great B&B for our anniversary trip without having to go too far from Northern Virginia. The food for breakfast was delicious. It was a great variety for the two nights we stayed. The owners (Tim and Dina) were available if we needed anything, but were definitely hands off otherwise, which we liked. We stayed in the County Manor Room which was wonderful for privacy since it was away from any of the other rooms and common areas. The room was very clean, and it was great having Tim set up the fireplace in our room for us in the evening for our return from dinner. It was a great place to come back to after visiting all the breweries. There is a TV in one of the living rooms where we were able to watch the Caps playoff game too!

Room tip: Country Manor Room was very private
