I had not been to one of these restaurants in years. I ordered the Mahi-Mahi tacos, and even though it tasted good, it wasn't as great as I thought it should have been. Still, a great place to go, the staff were extremely friendly, and the food is still pretty good.

We had a great meal @ Joe’s Crab Shack, the service was fast and the quality of the food was excellent. If you like crabs you must visit Joe’s, also served many other fish dinner.

Evidently it’s more of a frozen seafood place. The only menu item that had crab were the cakes. Supposedly the lobster and crab salad had crab but I suspect it was regurgitated. The two small pieces of lobster arrived semi frozen. The advertised lobster sauce tasted like watered down mayo.

The waitress couldn’t answer basic questions. Where did the crab come from? How much are the items on the summer menu?

I suppose the staff thinks it’s nice to clap their hands and make lots of noise to celebrate stuff but geez it’s annoying. And the acoustics make heating basic conversation difficult.

They have artwork of sea turtles on the wall. But they gave out plastic straws like...well, like they didn’t know sea turtles are dying from choking on straws. Most seafood places are acutely aware of the ocean’s fragility. Not this place.

I kinda thought that there would be soft shell crabs. Because it’s a crab shack and it’s June. Thought there would be seasoning on the shrimp. Would have loved to know where the shrimp was from.

But we got tired of asking the waitress about the menu. We ate and left. Never to return.

If you know your seafood don’t eat here.

Ordered a 6 layer chocolate cake and was awed by the flavor, moisture, and presentation. UNTIL I REALIZED THE DING DANG THING ONLY HAD 4 LAYERS!! Was very disappointed in 5 & 6 being MIA. Truly ruined a wonderful meal. #MakeTheCake6LayersAgain

been awhile since I've been to a Joes. stopped in in vacation.

not busy at all at 830 on a Friday night. after the rush??

the service in the bar area was great. couldn't ask for more.

the food was good...ok. nothing really special about it though. and that made me think...that's about what all of my dinners at Joe's were like. good, but nothing memorable.
