Daily dinner specials are very good. The fried seafood combo is usually a good bet. Breakfast is ok but not fantastic.

Rubbery scallops; tilapia you want to forget; crab? cakes. Salads were nothing special. They managed an edible baked potato. No oysters - in spite of their decor; no local fish. Much better food a few miles off Gwynns Island in the town of Mathews.

Yes the view is lovely, but you can't eat the scenery. Started with clam chowder and then, the most expensive item on the menu – the seafood platter. Absolutely tasteless, and the clam chowder was essentially vegetable soup with rubbery clam mantle, No clam flavor whatsoever. By taste, you couldn't tell one piece of seafood from the next on the seafood platter – probably out of the freezer, uniformly fried. The crab cake was absolutely tasteless… You couldn't tell that it had crab in it, except if you looked at it. At least it wasn't greasy. I would give it a -2 rating if I could. Definitely will not be back.

Only go for the location. Great location. Recommend breakfast only. Lunch and Dinner consists of Fried Fare that is frozen not fresh seafood. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive to locals, be prepared to be ignored if you are from out of town.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they served brunch type food on the weekends. There were plenty of empty tables available.
