The food was very good, and the prices are good. The people are nice. You do not need a loan to eat here. Oh, the food is fresh.

Eat Like a Local. Great hidden gem.
Reuben -pastrami or turkey coleslaw, swiss cheese, russian dressing on rye bread. Thick and big enough for two people to share. Big on taste!
Quiches to die for! Get one you will not be disappointed. Made daily.
South Street is a Leesburg institution, and manager Beth and her staff will make you feel like family. Fantastic breads, soups, sandwiches and specials. They have some breakfast items, but lunch is really the specialty (try the gazpacho in the summer - it will change your life). The ciabatta bread is heavenly - buy two loaves because you'll eat one in the car on the way home, even if you tell yourself you won't). For local folks, they carry Giffords ice cream in the spring/summer months. Fantastic treats, too, if you want to stop by in the afternoon and grab a drink, a sweet and sit outside under the trellis and relax, visit with a friend or just pass the time. They have charitable hearts, too, and are always donating to/and promoting great causes in our community. Go, eat, enjoy. And don't forget - TWO loaves of ciabatta. You'll thank me later.
I suspect all of their sandwiches are terrific, but my wife and I can't bring ourselves to order anything other than reubens, orso salad, and an english toffee brownie. We also get a ciabatta to go so I can freeze slices of the loaf to make avocado toast for breakfast some mornings. Staff are great too.
This is one of our favorite haunts. We like the lattes, breakfast sandwich on croissant, gluten free mousse cups, Giffords ice cream, chicken salad on croissant, ciabatta loaf, ridiculously yummy cookies, quiche of the day... just go. Order at the counter, sit and they will bring the yum to you.
