Wife and I spent the weekend here for our wedding anniversary and to run a trail race out near Clifton Forge. The owners of this B&B made our weekend into more than we had planned. Their enthusiasm for what they do really showed in their service and attention to detail. They had bottles of water and chocolates readily available, which helped us hydrate and fuel both before and after the race. Our bed was comfortable, the coffee flowed, and they even packed our breakfast for us when they knew we had to head out early for the race.

Their recommendations for local restaurants and bars in downtown Lexington were spot on (Brew Ridge Taps, Taps, and Haywoods). Their best recommendation was a beer and wine festival that happened to be occurring at the Lime Kiln Theater grounds while we were in town. We had a blast trying all of the local beer and wine there!

We stayed for 3 nights at Frog Hollow. It was our "base" from which we took day trips. We went to Staunton, Charlottesville, The Greenbrier (West Virginia), Skyline Drive, some antique malls, a brewery, distillery, and of course Lexington. Each of the breakfasts were different and they were all delicious. I would definitely recommend staying at this B&B. It was very convenient for exploring attractions in each direction.

Room Tip: There is a separate cottage if you prefer extra privacy.

Frog Hollow Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, warm and hospitable destination. David and John made us feel like old friends visiting to catch up. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and with new found friends.

Thanks guys for welcoming us into your home. Terry and I will definitely be back to visit!!

We enjoyed our stay, the garden room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and good cotton sheets. The room, indeed the whole house was beautifully decorated with many antiques typical of a late 19th century home. John and David served us a sumptuous breakfast. John told us about the home and their work to purchase and restore it.

We recommend this b&b. The nearby village of Lexington was interesting with many restaurants and shopping choices.

A wonderfully remodeled and restored B&B. What a wonderful and relaxing evening and perfect for an overnight stay. We were greater by our innkeepers on arrival and gave a short tour of the charming inn. A full breakfast was personally prepared the following morning. Can't say enough wonderful things about this inn. We hope to visit again someday.
