Beautiful go at sunset, very unique we loved having a private boat but kayaking would be nice too, would recommend.

The tour itself lasted about 2 hours. We got to see all these houses built on private islands owned by wealthy families. We stopped at one of the islands for a quick drink/snack. After the break, we continued to Monkey Island where we fed one of the monkeys. Our tour guide told us that the monkeys that live on this island were rescued from private homes and the veterinarian who looks after these monkeys lives on the neighbouring island. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the families who live around it and when we asked how he knew all of this, he told us that he actually grew up on one of the islands before wealthy families bought the islands. It was very sad to hear and know that these pieces of land that were once owned by locals are being exploited and sold to the rich. Overall, I found the tour interesting and it was eye opening to know the the history. I am glad we learned what we did.

My family and I really enjoyed this tour. We saw lots of birds including beautiful kingfishers, and got very close to some monkeys (though we later found out they had been planted on some of the islands so a bit like seeing zoo animals). We didn't know there would be the opportunity to swim but my son just swam in his underwear!

This was a fun exploration as it included monkey island and a history of the area. We hired our own guide.
