We have been a regular visitor of this restaurant for many years and are delighted that it has reopened. The evening went well. The food was as good as always. A new menu provided some interesting choices which we all enjoyed. This restaurant is one of the jewels of Ste Vaast and despite the previous owner's mixed reviews he always managed to maintain a full house. This was because he attracted a loyal group of customers who were prepared to pay slightly more for his brand of fine dining. On the whole we felt that some of the cosmetic changes did not add value. Not that we don't like change but change for its own sake is pointless. Better to leave everything as it was until you have found your feet. In our view if this restaurant is going to continue to thrive then the new owner is going to have to create something of herself that is different and valuable. In the mean time, ensuring customers feel valued by talking to them, getting to know them and remembering them is a great way of building loyalty.
