Following our recent disappointing holiday at the Solofra Palace Hotel., Since returning to England we have, on many occasions made every effort to give constructive criticism, to the hotel regarding the many facilities which were not made available, but where advertised in detail in the Hotels description of the accommodation available.
We paid for the accommodation in full following our formal booking made in February this year.
In brief, we booked and paid for 12 days accommodation in a " Deluxe Double " in our opinion,
this was no more than an adapted Business Class single / only built in bedside lighting to one side of a single bed., another single pushed along side to unsuccessfully share a single headboard. ( very uncomfortable.)
Just one chair to share for twelve days / no separate seating area as advertised.
The room was adequate for one person for a few nights.
Formal written complaints made regarding rude abusive treatment we were subjected to by a member of the staff management.
The Hotel I imagine would be a good choice for a function / seminar / or meetings.
I would not recommend a long residential stay.
Documented complaint forwarded to the main booking reception and the General Manager Francesco Paesano .,
No acceptable resolve has been offered or made to date.
Quite surprising really, as this Hotel does have quite a few good features to offer.
Will keep our feed back up dated with any developments / redress., when and if these transpire.
