Description: Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other. Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties. Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas. To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent à la carte desserts.

This is a place that my now fiance and I have been too a lot! Not only is the food delicious but they were very accomdating to him when he asked to have a table in the back of the restaurant away from others so that he could propose. But enough about that! The meat is delicious but I tell them right off the bat that I only want the red meat. I mean if you are going to pay the $ get the expensive stuff! Plus a hint that we learned was not to fill up on the "salad bar" they offer. Now don't get me wrong the different cheeses and deli meats, peppers, bacon, breads, rice and beans, and potatoes au gratin are all fantastic, but don't over eat there, remember you are there for the meats! Lol. They will bring sweet plantains to your table, mashed potatoes, and cheese rolls unless you tell them you do not want them.
QWith that being said, if it is your first time, experience it all because that's the point of going there.

Quality was very good, waiters go around all the time with many types of meat. Sald bar was awesome, lots of options. Good cocktails also and a very nice location. Make sure you have reservation though

Went with several friends who had never been. They really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Said they will be back. The food is always good and fresh, especially the steaks they bring out. Salad bar and soup is very good as well. We all will go again in the future. Need to come hungry.

The salad bar is very good, with unique selections. But don't overindulge, or else you won't be hungry for the main event; the meats!! All of the meats were exceptional. Tender, juicy, cooked to order, and hot off the grill. By serving small portions, nothing on your plate ever gets cold. And it keeps on coming until you cry uncle!! Desert is NOT included in the all-you-can-eat price of $46. So beware. Two people will easily drop at least $125 after drinks and tip.

The restaurant is right across from the Norva, so it's pretty entertaining to watch the teenagers line up for baby's first concert while waiting for the meat to arrive.

The meat service ran pretty hot and cold here, but I think that's because the only reservation we could get was right at the beginning of dinner. If you can, book early to get a mid-dinner slot.

Overall Texas is your run of the mill churrascaria, they try to fill you up on skirt steak and salad, but the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. My only "complaint" is that the meat servers don't really mind the disks, they just come and ask, which I guess is fine but interrupts the flow of the meal when you have different expectations.
