Me and my girlfriend booked a last minute 4 night (mon-fri) getaway, we didn’t know too much about the hotel but it seemed in a good location and whilst basic we felt it fulfilled our requirements for our trip. The “adults only” tag was a big appeal being he 1st week of school holidays so we went ahead and booked.
We were both pleasantly surprised, the hotel had everything we wanted. Room basic but clean and well equipped, Big pool area which was never overcrowded and no fights for sun-loungers at any time of the day. Most pleasing was the more than reasonable prices at the hotel bar, a great selection of drinks and food at rock bottom prices. €2.50 for a pint of San Miguel, €2.50 for a large wine, spirits n mixers not more either. Good quality food and snacks and no more for a few euros to feed yourself during the day. So efficient during the day with service, the cool looking bearded bar man had everything under control.
Location fantastic for beach, Palma Nova bars/restaurants and also for Magaluf strip if that’s your thing. 10min walk from the hotel but not 1 rowdy group staying at this hotel during the day was surprising but pleasing for a chilled out holiday.
We would 100% stay here again if returning to Majorca.

Great location and that is where it ends! vastly over priced. one step up from camping.very basic rooms with poor self catering facilities. no sockets for kettle etc had to put them on chair in middle of the room. Beds are rock hard. view of derelict hotel at rear of building. poor air con that only works when you are in the room, when you get back to room after being out they are red hot! had to be relocated which took over a day as balcony was 4ft away from brick wall.avoid room 117 not worth £5 a night! staff miserable and nothing going on, it is like a ghost town and uncomfortably quiet around the pool. I have been to livelier crematoriams! pay another £300 and go to luxury 4 star across the road. oh! and photos of pool and bar are not a true representation of what is actually there. very disappointed!

Pleased that you find the location excellent. But regarding the facilities, it is not a luxury hotel but they are of good quality and recently refurbished. You have the plugs in the front of the kitchen and another down to the right in case that is busy. The beds are new. The air conditioning should be turned off when leaving the room, both in this hotel and in all hotels. The tranquility of being in a pool in the month of July in Mallorca is a luxury that not many hotels can enjoy. I thank you for having expressed your opinion about us but once again I would have liked to personally assist you and be able to see our points of view.

Basic holiday apartment with everything you need for a few days. Good cleanliness level. Comfy beds. Good size apartment. Good a/c. We had 2 maintenance basic requests that were dealt efficiently, however maintenance is only working until 4pm. No parking but always spaces available in the same road at no cost.

Poorest customer service I have seen in long time. After having worked for the company for several years and stayed in many other Sol/Melia hotels, I can say the staff absolutely do not have any Melia standards despite the aparthotel being managed by it. Receptionists are not interested at all, most of them are watching movies in the evenings and there is no acknowledgement when you arrive or leave either a reply when you say hello or good afternoon/evening. Wifi is bad and actually was described as 'crap' by reception when we asked for the password. On arrival we were given a complementary upgrade to pool view which was greatly appreciated, but only half of the terrace faced the pool, the other half was covered by a tree and a fence, so we asked the receptionist for other option, and he said we got an upgrade and if we now move to the basic studio we booked, surely we would feel dissapointed with an ugly room facing nowhere (nice way to promote the place you work at!), also when I mentioned my concern about the fence, he said there were only robberies in the ground floor rooms (wow, are you really telling this to guests?). We asked about the free Katmandu pass advertised in booking.com and also Melia.com however the receptionist apologised and said that was a promotion from last year and they communicated it already but wasn't removed yet. Just to find out on the last day that was his mistake and we should have had the pass when we had already paid for it, so we wasted money due to the poor training of the staff sadly. I showed my Melia rewards card on arrival which I have been using for over 15 years, however the receptionist said he had never seen that card before, and what was my surprise when I saw a huge poster about the card on the floor below on the way to the swimming pool! On the morning of the departure and before the check out time, the housekeeper made her way in without asking and started cleaning the room for the next guests with us still inside - unacceptable. Despite notes around the hotel saying that is not allowed to reserve sunbeds with towels, every morning there was people doing so at 8am and then leaving for hours without any member of the staff being bothered. Even though you pay for a hotel with swimming pool, you are not allowed to take a simple bottle of water with you as is mandatory to buy it at the bar. We were charged a higher amount than written in our confirmation as apparently tourist tax increased but no one explained before taking the payment. From 9am or sometimes earlier you can hear a lot of banging and furniture moving from Housekeepers who don't seem to have any care or respect for guests that are on holidays and sleep in the mornings. We had changed pounds to euros to spend in our holidays, but reception keeps a cash deposit of €45 if you want to have remotes for a/c, tv and key for the safe (which has an additional non refundable cost of €37 to use the safe). I really didn't need the €45 on my way back to England so politely asked reception if would be an option where they could take a preauthorisation in our card as happens in any other hotel instead of keeping the cash so we could spend it on the last night and the answer was: 'if you bring the remote, I give you the cash and end of the story', and he look back to the other side... I respect if that's the policy, but the attitude was incredibly rude!

First holiday away with my boyfriend and it did not disappoint.
First night we were placed in a ground floor apartment which wasn't ideal. Bugs were everywhere and the aircon wasn't working. We reported this to reception and we were moved the next day without hesitation. All staff were lovely and very helpful.
The pool facilities were great and all very chilled and relaxing. The poolside bar and restaurant was super and very tasty.
The beach is a 2 minute walk from the apartments, which goes along the coast. All bars and shops are within walking distance. Magaluf is approx 10min walk and Santa ponsa is a 10 minute taxi if you fancied something different. Would definitely recommend for couples.

Room tip: Rooms on poolside would offer better views of te beach
