“Underwhelmed ”
Reviewed 7 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

We booked as a group of 6 adults for 1 week in December 2017. Previous TripAdvisor comments looked great and we looked forward to staying there. On arrival the villa was clean, brand new hot tub so all seemed well. We reported there was water pooling outside on the patio and the tiles were lifting. We also advised the owners the pool light timer was only switching off after midnight - difficult to sleep in that all the rooms have very light / see through curtains so the illuminated pool was very bright inside all three bedrooms.

We had a family reunion on the first night, other family members were staying in the same complex. Received an email from the owner saying we had been reported for being noisy and that kids were seen to be in the hot tub (with parents). My niece & nephew are 8 & 10 they have their own hot tub at home - really - we saw three other guests with kids using hot tubs in other villas. On the subject of kids - I would not recommend the complex for families with kids, there is nothing for them to do. The complex has small gym and a half size tennis court in poor condition which you can hire for €12/hr. The few other kids we saw were left to play football in the streets, kicking their balls against the villas or between themselves.

The first 6 channels on Sky didn’t work while we were there and movies were pin protected so we could not watch any over 12 films. There was a good collection of books and the WiFi worked fine.

A water leaked developed whilst we were there and the owners were quick to arrange the insurance accessor.

The pool needs to be relined and the heater control fixed - it was freezing cold and could not be used. Luckily the new hot tub worked perfectly though I understand this is NOT drained and refilled between guests. We own timeshare elsewhere and the emptying of hot tubs between guests leaving and new ones arriving is mandatory.

All three bedrooms had an ensuite shower and toilet - but no door, a strange construction layout.

We are very truly sorry you feel underwhelmed after your stay, we do try our best for all our guests. It was unfortunate that a water pipe burst beneath the villa floor during your stay at the fault of none. An offer of alternate accommodation was declined.
On reflection, the pooling of water on the patio was probably due to the water leak.
If a guest requests the pool light to be turned off, the manager is sent to adjust the timer in the pool room. Some guests prefer the light left on late, so they may relax on the patio of an evening, other require it off early to eliminate light in the rooms. This situation has been taken on board and blackout curtains have now been fitted.
Children are not allowed in our spa tub. Medically, small children have a different body temperature regulation, which may cause hyperthermia and other harmful effects. We are following health and safety guidance for spa’s. If an adult chooses to allow their child in a spa, it is their responsibility and we will not be held responsible for any bad after effects.
Bahiazul is a quiet complex for all ages. It is not an All-Inclusive Resort with full amenities and entertainment. There is a small gym and paddle tennis court available for private villa owners use too. The main attraction for families is having their own pool.
Obviously, there are children on the complex. We have not had a complaint in our 10 years referring to child play. There is no outer accessible wall to play ball games at our villa.
The first 6 TV channels are UK terrestrial channels not received through the sky box. We do have a Sky package with a selection of channels. The pin code is for the protection of younger viewers and inappropriate viewing.
It is now evident that the small crack in the pool is linked to the water leak and is being resolved. With regard to the pool temperature – instead of waiting for the arrival of our manager to access the pool room to adjust the timer for the pool light, the guest turned the jump switch off in the main fuse box to the pool room, thus turning the pool heater off overnight. The pool cooled right down, and it takes a few days to return to its target heat of 24/25 degrees. This is the reason the pool was cool.
The spa tub is emptied and cleaned monthly. This is the recommended clean time using a calculation of an average of 4 people with everyday usage of 28 days - which we do. A chemical ball floats within the spa to keep it in tip top condition.
The villa is presently undergoing a facelift with new décor and soft furnishing, and as noted, privacy curtains for the 2nd and 3rd ensuite bathrooms.
We understand guests enjoy different holidays with different interests and activities, along with different preferences. We do hope our villa meets a lot of these needs and we also hope you can see satisfaction from our previous reviews. Any questions about our villa before booking we will willingly discuss.

“Lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 11 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Great villa, lovely space, cool marble floors, very clean and spacious.
We loved the pool and especially the hot- tub, its a much better quality and size hot tub than all the others we have had in other villas on holidays.
You can see the beach in the distance from the hot tub.
You can use the buffet breakfast in the main part of the estate ( you have to pay) - its worth it at least once. I used the spa rooms and the paddle tennis court too.
The whole complex is the most well kept we have stayed at, and quiet at night for sleep.
I recommend this place to couples and families wanting to stay by Correlejo.

“Perfect home from home ”
Reviewed 19 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Me and my partner stayed for a week and loved it! Would of stayed longer if we could! It would suit larger families also as plenty of space! Pool area and top terrace is great and loved the jacuzzi and BBQ. Hair dryer and towels provided which is handy. Location is just by a large supermarket and taxi is also accessible via the main gate. Roughly 40 mins from the airport.
I'd recommend hiring a car so that you can explore the island and enjoy some of the sights, such as Calderon Hondu and the Sand Dunes. I'd also recommend the villa complex breakfast - 14 euros per person but really lovely experience.

We have just returned from a lovely week at Casa Woo Woo.

The villa was excellent, had everything that we needed. The terrace level upstairs with the hot tub and bbq was a great addition.

We would happily return to Casa Woo Woo.
