Premier Inn Horsham North (Horsham Station) Hotel

Dated and tired inside. No air con, so room was got, even with the window opened. There was a fan in the room though, which helped. Parking is free. Handy location for the town centre and the railway station.

Dear gonorr, we are sorry that you found the Horsham North Premier Inn not up to our high standards. There is an ongoing maintainence program. The hotel does not have air conditioning and extra fans are available from reception.Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay.

We usually love Premier Innns because we know that we will get a really clean room, comfy bed, good nights sleep and good food and service. Unfortunately not here! No lift. Rooms tired. Edges of carpets needed a good clean. Room ridiculously hot, there is a fan but who wants that blowing in their face all night? Had to leave window open, noise from the traffic kept us awake. Housekeeping standards poor! Premier Inn staff usually ask if you slept well. We stayed 5 nights and didn't get asked once. Restaurant was hit and miss, waited 25mins for a drink on the first night. 3rd night we waited 45 mins for our meal, they weren't even busy. Rissoto was disgusting but had a steak one night that was lovely. Food was mostly just ok. Breakfast was good with good service. We paid £550 for our stay. We were disappointed that it was so far below Premier Inns usual standard. It was however, in a great location, which is really all it had going for it. Will think twice before booking a Premier Inn in future.

Better premier inns than this around, not good in the odd UK heat waves due to lack of ventilation and road noise with windows open, starting to become dated in rooms and bathrooms, rooms are dusty and finger marks on TV

An excellent location, next to the station and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. There is no aircon and it can be a bit noisy with the window open (we did have a room on the noisiest side). There is free parking, quite a bonus in this location. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. As always the duvets were too hot. There are no lifts so this could be a problem for some people.
Breakfast is in the Beefeater next door. There is always something a bit depressing about eating breakfast in a pub but it was comfortable enough and the food was fine. The fresh slices of pineapple and melon were a nice surprise.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the back if possible

Reasonable rates and very comfortable rooms. Better suited, I think, to colder weather since there is no air conditioning. How I'm spoiled. However, the hotel does supply fans which really takes the edge off. Hotel is a short walk to the town centre and is right opposite the train station for easy access to London and the coast and the Beefeater pub and restaurant is right next door. The staff in both the hotel and pub/restaurant were super friendly.
The restaurant was a bit pricey but the food was good and I would be happy to eat there again.
Free WiFi in the hotel. My choice in Horsham.

Room Tip: Take a ground floor room if there is the chance. In summer, you'll get hot otherwise.
