You've probably done the sums. Do I catch a cab into the city or grab a room at the airport? Rooms in town are far more reasonably priced ... but it's a long way!
So, with this in mind you decide to stay out and fork out the money vs convenience.
If you've just come off a long haul, then it's a no brainier - its literally 4 mins walk from the terminal and you can even bring your trolley.
Check in was efficient although a tad sterile. Room was well appointed but showing it's age. At least our room had a separate shower instead of one over the bath! Basic amenities in the room and as all too common in older hotels - a serious lack of power points!
For us, we were the captive audience - landing from a long haul late evening and the thought of more travel was too much to bear. You're basically paying for location, not facilities. What you get is not what it's worth but in the end convenience wins over.
Give it a shot.More
