This Inn has received outstanding updates about 3 years ago. Every attention to detail was made by the caring and proud innkeepers, Lori and Greg. The historic details of the home are preserved and tastefully integrated with modern conveniences to make your stay very comfortable. The center wooden staircase is beautiful (and impossible to walk up without making lots of creaking sounds). Our family enjoyed some happy hour time on the screened in porch in the early evening overlooking the beautiful grounds and Tabbs Creek. We also had a great time exploring the creek in the Inn's canoe. The breakfast was outstanding as described by the other reviewers. We were lucky to enjoy fresh sliced tomatoes from the garden.
Ask for detailed instructions on how to find Turpin Lane. I imagine every first time visitor passes the very narrow lane situated between a privacy wall and building.
We look forward to a return in the future!More
