What a beautiful home! My husband and I stayed for one night as we were traveling to North Carolina and wanted to take a break. The only room available was with a shared bath- which we were not looking forward to; however, it was not a problem and the bathroom was very, very clean and lovely. David, the owner, Innkeeper recommended several places for dinner, we decided on the Depot...WOW! great meal. The next morning, breakfast was phenomenal...delicious fruit salad, yogurts, scones, fresh asparagus frittata, juice, unbelievable. The breakfast conversation with the other guests and David was so enjoyable, my husband and I didn't want to leave. We definitely would stay again ....and hope it is soon. Thank you!

Room Tip: Third floor has private baths.

My wife and I stayed here for a 3 nights, and absolutely loved it! The owner kept the rooms and house in excellent condition, and the food he made and served was great in variety and quality. The room was beautiful (William Beverly) and it was the perfect setting and ambiance for a romantic, restful getaway. We both especially loved the old home, which was full of antique decor and old, natural wood. There was also a very nice whirlpool tub in our bathroom =) The setting, within easy walking distance of historic Staunton, was really a big plus as well. We will definitely be back again!!

This place was great , so beautiful, clean and comfortable. The area has a lot of places to visit, good places to eat. The breakfast the owner made was wonderful. He even gave us good tips and directions on where to go. the restaurant called the train depot is a wonderful choice

My boyfriend and I, enjoyed a quant weekend away from our home in the Richmond area. It was a welcoming change from the usual hotel experience. We very much enjoyed the hospitality of the owner David, we also liked the homemade breakfast as well as the company of the other guests. The spread was lovely with an assortment of fresh fruits, yogurts and baked goods. The room was clean and cozy, the bathroom was well-kept with a nice hot shower.

The inn was in walking distance of downtown Staunton's wonderful little boutiques and delicious eatery's, it is definitely a great couple's getaway, if you are looking for something quiet compared to city life.

We certainly hope to come back in the future!

This period home is beautifully, comfortably furnished and our host was very welcoming and informative. He gave us a great suggestion for dinner as well as historic places to visit. We'd happily return.

Room Tip: Some rooms share a bathroom on the second floor. Third floor rooms have their own bathrooms.
