We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it! The home is filled with books, art, a lovely place to sit on the front porch and antique furnishings. We had reserved a second floor room that shares a bath but David gave us an upgrade to a room with a bath and it was much appreciated. The breakfasts are delicious and David is so helpful and does a great job! We would love to come back and stay here again sometime.

The Inn occupied a 100-year-old house that had been fixed up to be a B&B. We were in a room on the third floor, which would not be suitable for larger or handicap guests. Out of date mattress and TV set. Friendly innkeeper and excellent breakfast. Conveniently located in close proximity with downtown and points of interest.

Thank you for your comments. We are happy that you had a good stay and felt that our Inn was a good value. Indeed, we have an historic property (three floors with no elevator); therefore we are not the "right" place for someone that has difficulty with stairs. In our description we try to make prospective guests aware of the access. Although the mattress is relatively new, we regret that you did not find it comfortable (usually we get compliments on our beds). Indeed the TV in your room has not been replaced with a flat screen; although, we plan to do so in the near future. Controlling spending helps to keep rates lower and thereby be a good value.

Very comfortable room with all amenities including Wifi and laundry. Land lord gave us excellent advice on what to do during our stay in Staunton and on our journey further. Dave is a really nice guy and makes really nice breakfasts.

Room tip: Ask the landlord

Much better than a motel! Walking up the steps to the B&B felt like coming home every evening. David, the innkeeper, is welcoming & interested in his guests, as well as being an excellent cook. There are a lot of stairs to climb, but the surroundings and atmosphere make it well worth the climb!

Stayed for two nights, had the best time - breakfasts were great, decent parking nearby, very clean and nice room and bathroom. The owner was super nice and made us feel very welcome. Wish we had explored more of the surrounding area!
