This is a true hidden gem in the Tidewater area. The french cusine was exceptional and the owner and staff are very accomodating to your every whim. They have such an extensive menu that it took us about 15 minutes to decide what to order. We shared the fried dumplings and Bruchetta for the appetizer. They were exceptionally well done. They have an extensive wine list and of course take great pride in their tea selection. We tried the Malbec which was very good. The main course! Where do I start? We finally decided to share two. A Flounder Crepe and their very large lightly battered fried shrimp with asparagus. Both were exceptional. Yes, there is that word again, but it is a well deserved description for this restaurant. We were not still hungry but they take great pride in their "Flan", which happens to be one of my favorite desserts. It was heavenly! Very light with a carmel sauce that was terrific. My date was truely impressed and noted we must come back soon. Give it a try, you will not regret it. Note that reservations are probably needed on weekends and special occassions as there are only about 5 or 6 tables. I have eaten all over France and in French colonies and never had a better meal.
