Sushi Chinoise has a great atmosphere and the food is wonderful for a reasonable price. The happy hour food offerings are good - we easily make that our meal for the evening.

Went early Saturday evening (4:30) and the place was empty. By the time we left, it was pretty busy. Service was good and attentive. Sushi was flavorful and fresh. Sake was recommended and good. I would go back.

There are a lot of restaurants in the PNW that wrongly call themselves Asian Fusion when in fact they are pan-Asian--the latter being when a restaurant offers various items from more than one Asian cuisine under one roof. Asian Fusion marries other Asian and international influences while still leaving various Asian techniques or ideas intact: Sushi Chinois is true Asian Fusion.

When you take your seat at Sushi Chinois, you're presented two menus. One is the regular menu, a fairly comprehensive collection of dishes that draw from all corners of Asia, and a short fresh-daily list that describes current, seasonal specialties. We were in sushi mode. And though this restaurant has a plain old California roll is that's what you must have, we ordered from the long list of house specialties. Our favorites were the DFR, the Seahawks roll and the Hawaiian poke roll. Outstanding, all of them.

What's so cool is that we could go back tomorrow and concentrate on Chinese if we wanted, or bang it up with a blend of anything that struck our fancy. We did not order alcohol so can't comment on the beer or wine lists.

The vibe in this restaurant is very cool. Modern decor with calming pale greens and browns, very suitable at both lunch and dinner. Outdoor tables available, too.

Note that this restaurant is just off the 405 and only 3.5 miles from Chateau Ste Michelle, which makes it a perfect place to take in a meal before heading over to the Chateau for a show.

Recommend by our hotel front desk, this restaurant is in a new and trendy part of the town. my husband and I had lunch there. He ordered pho and I ordered Singapore noodle. the food came very quickly. Both our entrees were delicious and fairly large portion for lunch. The server was very polite and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We will highly recommend this restaurant for friends and families. The only complaint we have is that they do not serve Thai ice tea or Thai coffee.

This is a nice place to enjoy a cocktail and a wide variety of Asian themed food. Everything we have tried off the fresh sheet has been excellent.
