Bar and outside dining area are top notch both offering excellent drinks and wonderful menu items. Their happy hour is one of the areas best. The restaurant is very good and for East Vancouver it saves a drive to Portland. The only draw back is the noise level. Cement floors, metal and wood accessories become an echo chamber when busy. If some sort of art textures were installed it would help diners enjoy their dining experience. So if you you want that cozy "get to know each" moment I'd suggest going somewhere else. On the other hand if you like the buzz then forge ahead and enjoy. Be a hipster and strut your stuff.
