We stopped in for a weekday breakfast to a fairly empty restaurant and were seated immediately. The place was immaculate and looked like it was caught in a 1940’s or 50’s time warp. Service was very prompt and the staff and servers were outgoing and friendly. I ordered the corned beef hash, which was the special of the day, and my wife had a cheese omelet. Both orders came up quickly, were piping hot and sized for lumberjacks! While I knew my dish came with 3 poached eggs, we presumed the same for the omelet based on its size. As if that wasn’t enough, our plates came with a very large portion of hash browns and 2 slices of toast. Both our meals were good and satisfying though my wife could only eat half of hers. Plus, the attentive server replenished our coffee with such speed that we never saw the bottom of the cup. If you want an old-fashioned breakfast with a down-home feel, you won’t go wrong here.
