It had been about 15 years since we had been here last. We had the mushroom burger and the blue cheese burger. They came with French fries. The burgers were excellent and the French fries were great. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, he did an excellent job. For us it was kind of loud in there but it has always been that way. I don't think it will take us as long to return again.

Parking is street-side only. Nothing is usually available within two blocks because of the commuter parking and visitors parking up Main St. and Sunset Ave.

Game day and this place was busy, but not packed. Been here before, so seated ourselves. Waitress arrived quickly. Noise level was up but not as noisy as it can get.
Prices seem to go up for food and beverages, but it seems never to go up for beer
and alcohol drinks, Food, though of solid quality seems to be diminished in serving size.
Serving size matters. Why? because if you can get a loaded captains plate containing three fish filets, four deep fried oysters, three small schollops, and about a handful of clam strips (nice size) with onion rings for $15 elsewhere, why go here
for a two-piece fish, a few fries, a some O's for $19 plus additional costs such as $3
per cup of tea or coffee, and a short order of O's (five--and three were very small)
for an additional cost.

If you dig this atmosphere, noise, trains going by, and sports and drinks; it is your kinda place for the money. It is not romantic! The value for a meal is poor, but the quality is better than average.
Coffee and tea drinkers are in reality subsidizing the bar when required to
pay $3 per cup and if the house is busy, try to get a coffee refill; but, a beer is another matter.

We went to this restaurant after a long day of sightseeing and touring the city of Seattle. We just wanted a simple and easy dinner to end our day. Instead we walked into the Seahawks hangout, with people screaming and yelling at the various tvs while the game was on. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other from one end of the table to the other. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. The service was slow, and at one point we saw our waitress holding a baby from another table (we assume it was a friend of hers), and we could only hope she washed her hands again before serving our food. I would be willing to try this restaurant again, not during a football game, but this experience was less than great.

Service fine, this is a Tuesday lunch at noon. I order prawns and chips, my wife ordered a turkey and cranberry sandwich. The prawns had the texture of dry burnt toast and the sandwich was very lackluster, fries were fine, how can you mess those up.. We will stick to the burger menu next time.

Been here many times over the years, always good solid bar food, great beers on tap and a full bar. Prices not too bad either.
