we LAVA this place! service is awesome and the food is SO insanely good (literally everything we've tried there)! I can't believe a place of this caliber is in edmonds at five corners. you think -- this place is not like the others around. ;) but it's oh-so-good! also, the live music on wednesdays cannot be beat!

the only negative, if I had to come up with one, is the price. drinks/cocktails are higher and closer to downtown seattle prices, and entrees are ~$30/plate. not something you think you'd spend at five corners, but the food really is so delicious. also, the happy hour prices aren't the best deal, but you can get access to items they don't sell on their regular menu.

highlights / things not to miss:
- crab & poke bowl with avocado rice (yes, avocado rice! -- it's weird, but delicious)
- lamb riblets (a little bit of spicy & sweet, yummm)
- pork belly tacos (nice pieces of pork belly, not all fat -- yum!)
- black cod (I never miss a chance to have black cod, it's soo delish)
- Enrico playing the guitar on Wednesdays -- he's a local celebrity & dining to his music is such a treat

This is one of our favorites in the Edmonds area - where we live. Good, unique food - reasonably priced.

Didn't get the bartender's name but he was engaging. Eating here previously, I thought my shrimp was overcooked and my plate on the small side and the prices a little high.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service..... sounds like a local hang-out place in a hidden away tiny strip ...... and it is. We have never had a bad night out when we did not feel like sitting in a pretentious place or drive down to Seattle. If you have got the main chef on duty - nothing will be "oh no". On Sundays they have Taco night. Asked for the Pork Belly Tacos to be "greased more" and they will drip down to your elbows.

I'd heard about it from friends of mine, but never been. We went a little over a month ago for the first time and have been back repeatedly. We normally order 3-4 appetizers to share instead of a couple of entrees, here's what we've had so far:
- ahi poke tacos - our favorite item and the only thing that we've ordered every time we've been
- clams - the pile of clams was huge
- calamari - really good
- avacado / bacon tempura - this is the only thing that I wouldn't order again. It just wasn't my thing
- spicy cucumber salad - fantastic. It's probably on the need to get every time list

We've also had a couple of the noodle bowls (I don't remember which ones exactly), but both were really good.

It's not in a real convenient location and there doesn't seem to be much else open in the little strip mall at night, but it's well worth the trip if you're in the Edmonds area.
