Oh my god. This is the best pork chop I've ever seen or had in my entire life! The brussel sprouts, oysters and smokey margaritas were also amazing.

This restaurant is in the heart of Edmonds. It is clean, and modern. A lot of metal in the decorating. The menu is not extensive, but they something for everyone. It changes. I loved everything I ate and tried bites from others. It gets crowded so get reservations or come early. Higher priced.

We have been here at least 8 times and each time there are improvements. They have reorganized the seating which makes it more cozy. They have adjusted some of the lighting which is good but still not great. Still having staff issues unfortunately. They are definitely friendlier but not up to speed. Our reservation was through open table but we got an email from open table the next day stating the restaurant said we were a no show. Our service was very sporadic. We would get a course served but the wine pairing did not arrive without us reminding the server. Three times during the evening we were brought food for another table. We got our third course when we were only half way through the second course. They served the wine pairing for the third course so far head of the food that we had to order more wine. The servers need to be in charge of the pacing instead of just having other servers bring out whatever the kitchen has ready. Why do we keep going back? The food is great. And they are improving. We had a beet salad that had the perfectly matched dressing. The risotto cakes were prepared wonderfully with a crisp outer crust and flavorful inside. The pork was so tender and moist and the wine pairings they selected to accompany the foods were spot on. Hopefully the service will soon match the yummy food as this place is a great fit for Edmonds.

Good drinks --- ok, GREAT drinks and really good food = a wonderful brunch. We had the pleasure of being served by Josh on Sunday, and he was very courteous and helpful. The dishes were super yummy -- I had the eggs Benedict with sausage and a bloody mary, my friend had the honey chevre toast and a glass of champagne. We could have stayed there all day!

During my previous visit (also for brunch), our party of four sat at the bar and were served gorgeous mint juleps. We had the avocado toast, the seafood frittata, and the standard breakfast. Everyone loved what they had and the bartender was fantastic.

The decor is clean and sleek, yet warm and inviting. The staff are universally friendly and fun. My friends and I definitely recommend Salt & Iron!

Although there was plenty of open tables in the restaurant, we were seated in cold area near door. We moved to warmer table but still felt chilly. Nowhere to hang up our coats, so had to keep them at the table. Server was unable to answer questions about menu items and generally did not seem very interested in our comfort. Food was good though, which partially made up for the service.
