We were seated quickly and greeted by our friendly wait person. I had the Korean Bean Paste soup, very flavorful and literally boiling when it was served. We had the wait person turn off the alcohol burner and let the soup cool for a minute. Wasn't crazy about the pieces of pork belly, but the broth and veggies had great flavor. The Thai soup looked especially good, will try that on my next visit. A bit noisy and seating can get a little tight, but well worth it.

Q-uality of food is good and fresh ingredient
S-ervice is fast and the crew is responsive
C-leanliness rated medium ( not to clean)
V- alue is a bit on the off side, a bit pricey

If you fond of boil food and spicy soup with its special stinking fermented tofu then this is your choice.

Six of us went for lunch and each of us liked it. Was the first time for all of us , so we did not know what to expect. The house is smaller than expected so we had to wait a bit to be seated. Interior is nice but the concrete made it loud so it was hard to converse. Picking something to eat was interesting because each soup had at least one item that was strange for each of us. For example blood rice, fish balls and fermented tofu. Our waitress was very helpful and steered us away from the soup with the fermented tofu. The broth was super. We all liked the type we had. The credit card machine was down so we had to come up with cash and settle with each other later. They light a candle under your metal soup dish which made the soup very hot but the waitress put out the candles at our request. Each of us agreed that we would return.

After reading the reviews here I was pretty excited to eat here but the place was a bit disappointing. The food just wasn't as flavorful as I expected and the service wasn't great

Ten of us in a room off to the side. A long wait for a waiter to take our order. This is NOT the place to go for a quick lunch. The shrimp and crab take time to crack and dig out the meat.

So, why am I rating BP as high as I am?

Taste.

The soup literally boils at your place setting and tastes great!

So, it's good. It boils. It's slow.

Got it?
