Food has always been good, presentation and general atmosphere has been iffy in the past. Boy, what a great surprise. Menu was varied, more options than most buffets, good as usual, and presentation top notch. Really hit this one out of the park! In addition to regular buffet items, omelets, waffles, etc. oysters, fresh and fried, excellent shrimp, salmon and another fish dish. The prime rib was lean and perfectly done. Desert table had REAL cheesecake! Good array of salads and meat, cheese, and fruits. The table settings were nice, buffet was kept tidy, (not an easy task), and service good as well. We're going back.

We came here for a big family dinner and the drinks were so good and the food was even better! I had a crab melt and it was the best one I’ve ever had. Same with their cheese sticks! Pretty reasonably priced for a seafood restaurant too!

We were last at Crow's Nest here in June, 2016, and had an awful experience which I reviewed at the time.

It had been about 15 months, and Sally wanted to go out to sort of celebrate some good news she had gotten, but didn't feel like driving to Richland to our new favorite upscale seafood place on the river. So we decided to try Crow's Nest again, but vowed to walk ut if the prior experience was repeated.

Well, we got a pleasant surprise. Place was very empty on a Monday evening about 6:00 PM when we got there. We got a table on the lower level by the windows on the north side of the room. Good view.

Extremely pleasant and competent server, nice lady.i
I ordered the crab stuffed halibut that has been my favorite at Crow's Nest for a long time. Sally had coconut shrimp with a side salad. We got a plate of nachos as an appatiser. I had a glass of the Bernard Griffin Chard with dinner; Sally had a beer.

We dawdled long ish over dinner, just talking. Got attentive, but unobtrusive, service from our waitress.

Food was good. Both the halibut and the shrimp were fine, we shared bits. Salads were generous. Nachos were very good.

A very pleasant change from our previous experience at Crow's Nest in 2016, which caused our more than year long boycott of the place.

We ate here twice. Both times the service was great and the food wonderful. The restaurant has a nice view of the water.
