The Enzian Inn tries to transport you to another world. The staff is in Bavarian costume. The room numbers are handpainted with flowers. The room interior has furniture that looks Bavarian. However, hidden in the Bavarian exteriors are all of the modern amenities. There are multiple gathering places and a large balcony overlooking the mountains.
The complementary breakfast is so good!!! In addition to a station where a chef prepares your eggs to your specifications (scrambled, omelettes, etc) there is a buffet with fruit, waffles, egg casserole, cereals and all the breakfast regulars. But save room for the dessert table with their special puffs (with Bavarian cream).
But the best part of all of this is the woman who plays the Alpine Horn. Not only does she play during breakfast, she also is very friendly and informative about the instrument. She also gives impromptu concerts in town!!
Unique and exceptional place.

We almost always choose the Enzian Inn for many reasons. 1) the Bavarian atmosphere. The rooms have decor that goes with the theme. 2) There are 2 pools- one indoor and one outdoor (outdoor pool was under construction this trip but looks like it is going to be amazing once complete). 3) The all you can eat- made fresh breakfast can NOT be beat! Made to order omelets, homemade cinnamon rolls and other pastries- fresh fruit. Choices that would cost you at least $15 per person if you ordered in a restaurant. 4) an option to play putt putt golf as part of your stay ($17 per person if you don’t stay at the hotel). And the staff is amazing- the location is perfect- you never have to move your vehicle the whole time you are staying there.

My wife and I have stayed at three (3) other Leavenworth hotels/inns, and this by far goes above and beyond the term "customer service!!" We spent a weekend here and were overwhelmed by the abundance of amenities included and the breakfast in the solarium (with the alphorn serenades) goes above and beyond. There appears to be daily piano entertainment in the main lobby. Our thanks to the extremely courteous and congenial staff. I might add that cleanliness was impeccable. Oh, and less than 10 minute walk to all the downtown shops, etc.

Room tip: Room with a balcony is a plus!

Wow - I didn't realize what a nice place this is. It was a real treat. The breakfast room has amazing views and the rooms are quite comfortable. The food was great. There are nice seating areas throughout the hotel.

Hotel is a cute hotel and embraces that Bavarian charm that Leavenworth thrives on. It’s an older hotel but the rooms appear to have been updated a bit. The location is perfect. Since you can no longer park in downtown, it was convenient to just walk into town. The walk is literally just a few minutes. Loved that.

The beds were comfortable too.

Also free parking. The breakfast was amazing. That alone is reason why I would return. The kids loved the breakfast and said it was better than any restaurant we have eaten at for breakfast. Good and fresh prepared food and a wide variety of options. Them waffles! So good. Staff were all very friendly too. We enjoyed the alpine horn playing during breakfast. The player came to our table afterward to say hi.
Another perk is free putt putt across the street for hotel guests.

The outdoor pool was still closed as it’s being renovated. But the indoor pool was always open and never seemed too crowded. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Room tip: Get a second floor room so you don’t hear the noises from rooms above you. If you go to the indoor pool, go during dinner to avoid crowds
