“Daughter's wedding home away from home”
Reviewed 16 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We found Adams Manor on airbnb and it looked too good to be true. Well, it was a delightful old home to stay in for our wedding weekend. As a family we had so much fun being together in the living room and kitchen, which is a nice difference from a hotel. Our host Liz was very welcoming and accomodating to our needs. The rooms were all lovely and tastefully decorated, it was great fun to stay in an old house! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun family gathering spot for an awesome weekend in Snohomish!

Liked best: Painted nicely.
Liked least: stairs for carrying up a lot of wedding decor. No other way to manage that, though.

“Truely lovely experience all the way! Liz is amazing!”

When our daughter chose picturesque Snohomish, WA for her wedding, we first
searched Airbnb to avoid the big box corporate hotels. To our pure delight,
Liz's Adams Manor offered a total paradigm shift in what is possible for our
rare trip off our treasured island, Kauai. By gathering multiple couples
under one spacious and finely appointed roof, we hoped to provide our
bride-to-be a solid place to land during the wedding whirlwind.

Amazing Liz went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Unexpectedly,
she facilitated our hosting of a delightfully memorable barbeque wedding
rehearsal dinner (on fine china!) in her huge basement featuring the
original well, a musically themed photo area, piano and a cozy theater. Our
guests marveled at the uniqueness of the venue and often remarked on what a
great time they had!

Her kindness and understanding saturated each experience we shared. From the
handling the detailed party logistics, to her kind responses to our many
questions, to the sweetly soft sheets on the comfy beds in her beautiful
period rooms, Liz perfectly attended to our every need.

Sharing each morning in the quiet of our own kitchen, living area, and
dining room of the original 1888 home, made Adams Manor the most magnificent
place for the mother-of-the-bride and her entourage to experience this very,
very special moment in our lives.

Adams Manor should be on the short list of any traveler to Snohomish, WA who
wants the thrill and luxury of staying in an actual period mansion offered
by one of the kindest hostesses you may ever have the pleasure to meet.

“More Than We Ever Imagined”

My husband and I scheduled a long weekend to Seattle to celebrate my birthday. Not wanting to stay in the city but in the country, with the option to get to the city easily, we stayed at Adams Manor. Adams Manor is nestled in a grove of trees with a beautiful wrap around porch. We were greeted by Liz, the proprietor, who is warm, attentive and very entertaining.

The apartment was beautiful with lots of natural lighting, hardwood floors and antique charm. A full kitchen with top end appliances as well as a comfortable living room greeted us. We were offered the option of one of several bedrooms. Each room has access to its own bathroom. The bedroom we chose was spacious and the bed was like crawling back into the womb! and in the morning the sun shown through the leaded glass windows displaying the most beautiful light. And we took advantage of early morning or late evening hot tubs outside on the beautiful, secluded back patio.

The location was perfect. A quiet street with the ability to go for an early run or walk to town for breakfast, coffee and great restaurants with local WA wines. We throughly enjoyed browsing through the many antique stores and shops in town. Liz had numerous suggestions for dining and shopping.

Liz has paid special attention to detail and the aesthetics of Adams Manor takes you back to a time of old with the conveniences of today. I highly recommend Adams Manor for a week of vacation or a weekend escape.

“Be Amazed!”

Our host promised to make our stay AMAZING! and she definitely did! Eight of our family spent Labor Day weekend together at Adams Manor and celebrated a wedding Rehearsal dinner for 25 in the banquet/well room, a Hootenany with nine musicians ( fiddle, guitars, mandolin , spoons, drum) in the Theatre, played ping pong and air hockey in the Billiard Room, hot tubbed in the courtyard and got really good night's sleep in very comfortable beds! in the magical spaces of the manor. We were more than comfortable and had a wonderful stay in Snohomish with our family at a special time to be together in a special place. Five stars to Adams Manor!
