We took my Dad here for his 78th birthday celebration and surprised him with a bunch of his grandkids that he wasn't expecting. There were 9 of us and they were very accomodating on a busy Saturday afternoon. Located right on the water, the view was amazing and everyone loved what they ordered. We will definitely be going back for a visit when in Tacoma. Great location, excellent service and fabulous food. A great mix!

This place is totally worth it. Their fish is sustainably caught and the food is as local as possible. That means you are going to get the freshest, best quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was so delicious and the service was friendly and prompt. The lobster pernod chowder, however, was life-changing...sooooo good!!

I was traveling for business and happened to visit Duke's for dinner, on the recommendation from a friend. The "talk" of the chowder is real, it was one of the best I have ever had. You can order in various sizes, allowing you to sample a few varieties. I had the stuffed salmon for dinner, which was excellent. Drinks were a wide selection of top shelf brands. Location was great, overlooking the bay. Would highly recommend visiting if ever in the area.

Visited with family to try the world famous chowder. We had the New England clam chowder and it was delicious. Our party had an array of entrees. The non seafood types had burgers. The seafood entrees ranged from halibut to shellfish. Well presented albeit pricey. The service was efficient and friendly without becoming intrusive.
