Beautiful setting, atmosphere off the charts, excellent food, caring staff, and so affordable. People were dressed casual in t shirts and jeans to hats and coats suitable for tea with Her Royal Majesty . The tea cupboard is well stocked as is the wine bar. Cozy nooks for 2 are spotted around larger dining areas. Several parlor areas and dining areas can be closed off with glass doors, making for intimate settings and special occasions. The offer a menu of sandwiches, soups, salads, and deserts, as well as a vegetarian menu (with real cucumber sandwiches!!!!) and a kids menu that is affordable and your kid will eat it! Oh, and did say anything about the HUGE grand piano and the handsome guy who plays it ... Was amazing entertainment, not overbearing but a wonderful soundtrack for a great moment with friends and family. Please find time to visit. You won't regret it.

Three girlfriends and I wanted to try a new tea house/restaurant and The Olive Branch met all our criteria for a fun afternoon. The staff was pleasant, the menu offered numerous options, and the food was delicious. Service could have been better but they were short handed and the restaurant was filled with guests, including a large group attending a birthday party. There were also several people enjoying high tea in the 'tea room' area.

The interior is beautifully decorated and was reminiscent of some of the B & B's and restaurants I have enjoyed in Savannah and Charleston. The roads around both sides of the restaurant were under construction, but we still easily found a parking spot and had easy access into the restaurant.

Despite the 'tea' offerings, this restaurant is suitable for men and women. The food is wonderful and the sandwiches and salads are huge. I will return and plan to take my husband next time.

Near Tacoma Dome and the Lemay car museum a fun place to celebrate. A place you will want to bring your friends for a great lunch or Tea party. Lots of hugs and good food and the biggest problem you will run into is which of the 500 teas you will want to try Thanks Terry and our servers Shawne and Elain for the hugs and special attention you gave us. Good luck you have service down to an art girls.
