This was my 4th stay with Mel at this lovely B&B. I took my mum and sister for an overnight treat. The house is so homely and cosy and the rooms are spacious and clean. Mel looks after you exceptionally well with tea, coffee and cake on arrival. Her breakfasts are amazing, I would recommend the eggs benedict! The views from the bedrooms are stunning and the location is so peaceful. You feel part of the family at Mel's, her grandsons who live nearby, are delightful. You won't be disappointed when you stay here, you are close to many walks, pubs and the Refreshment Rooms at Carnforth Station are well worth a visit. The Lancaster Canal also flows nearby and the Canal Turn Pub is a lovely p!ace to eat at. It won't be long before we return. Go on, give Mel a call!

Room Tip: All 4 rooms have lovely views. 2 over the front and 2 at the back. The grounds are amazing whichever...

We have never stayed in a better B & B. Mel is the perfect hostess, she has thought of everything to make your stay better than you ever thought possible. Luxury & Comfort all rolled into one. A quiet & picturesque setting to compliment the wonderfully appointed house.

Our two night stay here was perfect in every way. Mel is a wonderful hostess and greeted us with a pot of tea and delicious home baked cake. a lovely spacious room with a fab ensuite, top quality toiletries and lovely white fluffy towels. everything was spotlessy clean, Lovely extra touches such as bath robes, free stocked mini bar and fresh milk in lovely little glass bottles. super comfy large double bed with quality bedding.Breakfast was top notch too with quality products and so much choice. In a quiet little hamlet but within minutes of several places to eat.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Kingfisher room with a super walk in shower.

Our two night stay at this B&B was perfect in every way. Our room was fantastic (all the little extras such as dressing gown and toiletries were a lovely touch), breakfast was excellent and Mel was a great host. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back in the future.
