Friendly service and surprise grab to go foods as well as convenience store items. Haven't been let down yet on my breakfast or lunch items.

Thank Abney

The food is designed to go but there is a small (very clean) eating area. The breakfast food is truly delicious...the fried potatoes are not from a bag and are excellent. The hot dogs are good and the wraps offer something for everyone. I wish they had longer hours and we're open on the weekend.

We were staying at the Sheraton nearby and wanted a reasonably-priced breakfast. Thanks to Yelp, we found this cafe, which was a short walk and absolutely hit the spot. The service was extremely friendly and prices were quite reasonable (especially if you are from a large East Coast city metro area). We saved a lot compared with the hotel! If I ever get back to Charleston, I am definitely coming back here.

The Swiftwater Cafe is located at 405 Capitol Street, on the Washington Street side of the old Daniel Boone Hotel.

The menu is altered daily, although many of the items are mainstays. If you're in a hurry and want good, inexpensive food, this is the place to be. There are numerous pre-made sandwich wraps, pre-packaged chips, and a soda machine. You can be in and out in mere minutes!

There is also cooked-to-order sandwiches and burgers. A very good place to eat!

Swiftwater was a great place to get my stop and go lunch. I got the BBQ special with a bag of chips and a drink. Pretty good BBQ, chips were your standard chips, but the dining room side needed a little reviving. Great and clean (for the most part, however I did hit during lunch rush and it looked like they have three people staffed) little stop off!
