This campground is so peaceful & quiet. The owner- Mark was super nice & stayed on the phone with me giving directions until I got to campground. The place is 4 minutes from Elkins Walmart but it is tucked away as if you are out in country. The owner opened the bathhouse for us early even though they weren't officially open yet. The bathhouse is super clean & roomy. Looks like new. We stayed 2 nights and it was very cheap. We had afire ring and picnic table. Their is pavilion for music events that looks fun. Our daughter had a couple friends over for cookout and just loved it. Great place for family time and we will be returning. The view is awesome..

Room Tip: Good quality camping in our 30ft RV

Guys, If you prefer to adapt a "Not in a hurry - Going no where fast" philosophy of life ... Elkins WV is that way of life. The people are real. The hosts are great. The time spent allows everyone to decompress and just feel alive - and not pushed to do much of anything.

For our last camping trip of the season before winterizing the travel trailer we decided to visit this beautiful place after reading reviews. It was the best trip, an absolute beautiful place to relax and unwind. It was a bit difficult to find, but thanks to a local gas station we finally found it. To our surprise, they provide firewood (no charge) which was awesome! If you need to use the bath house, it is very well kept and clean. We only stayed 2 nights and could have stayed longer had we known just have peaceful this place is. Definitely on our list for a return visit next season.

Room Tip: Every spot is great for campers and level.

We were headed to Elkins for work, just before the Labor day weekend. At the last minute Mark was able to squeeze us in, as every other campground was booked. How lucky for us, as we spent over 2 weeks on Pegasus Farm, where we could escape the hustle and bustle from our daily grind with peace and quiet in the afternoons on the farm. I would recommend this peaceful getaway to all campers. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay where you can wander around the farm taking in nature's beauty during the day and at night enjoy the stunning star filled sky. Hopefully someday in the near future we can make it back here if not to camp at least to visit. Mark and Bonnie, the owners are one of a kind, by the end of our visit we felt like family, The beauty of this place and the kindness of the owners are something I will never forget . And lastly the cleanest shower house I have ever seen, Thank you Mark and Bonnie !!!

A lovely farm setting with plenty of space between rv sites, Pegasus Farm is a little slice of heaven. Add to the bucolic setting the amazing hospitality of the camp owners and hosts--you've got 5 stars!!! Oh yes, we will be back!
