The owners have done a FANTASTIC job of re of resurrecting this old place sitting on top of Stone Creek. Basically they have totally rebuilt the place. In 2016 they added a wrap around porch, for eating/relaxing and in 2017 added a separate pavilion. It's a small grocery store, carry out restaurant, social gathering spot, place to buy a local paper (that's a newspaper, they still carry them). The other night I have the steak and cheese sub, which was excellent. In addition to subs (hot and cold) they hand make Pannini sandwiches, burgers, fajitas and pizza. They also make breakfast sandwiches. If you drive the speed limit you will pass the small hamlet of Largent and miss this nice place. You cans also park your vehicle here to pick up drop off your carry in boat to the Cacapon River (for a fee, of course)
