This is a small restaurant with limited hours (lunch only), but they make delicious, reasonably priced sandwiches. For about $10 you get a good-sized sandwich, chips and drink. Excellent bread, meatballs/meat, and ingredients. A couple of outdoor tables for nice weather. A great find.

We stopped in for a later lunch and it wasn't very busy, but we got the last two special ateomboliandor the day and it was awesome! Food was good and fast and reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly! Here isn't a ton of seating so you may have to wait for a table and take your food to go. Cute location and yummy food. We will definitely go back!

The owners (the Hagy's) already have a restauranat called La Famiglia (I've done a review on that also) which used to be open for lunch and dinner. Having now opened The Mulberry Street Meatball Co. & Deli smack-dab in the middle of downtown Huntington, they are serving sandwiches and soups here and the restaurant is now for dinner only.

I've had one sandwich so far from the deli and, just as I expected, it was very good. I had a roast pulled pork sort of like an Italian version of barbecued pork. All their sandwiches are served on bread they make at the restaurant where they have a wood-fired oven for their pizzas, bread and roasted meats. My sandwich was quite large so I took the second half home with me and that night heated up just the meat and made some fried potatoes to go with it. So lunch and dinner for under $10? Not too shabby!

The family imports all their Italian meats (salames, prosciutto, etc.) from Italy and also their cheeses. Since they are also a deli, you can buy these items and make your own creations at home with the most authentic ingredients you'll find anywhere near Huntington.

The service is very friendly. Since it is family-owned, they have a vested interest in seeing that guests are happy when they leave and I always have been whether it was the restaurant or now the deli.

Mulberry Street doesn't have a website (yet) but the restaurant's website is http://www.lafamigliadeli.com/about/ and you can learn all about the family and restaurant there.

My only suggestion would be to find some way to offer their sandwiches as a panini. Their bread is wonderful and with a delicious meat inside, would be even more wonderful if toasted.
