“A perfect place”

We have been going to Snowshoe for almost 10 years now mostly for the grandchildren and their parents for ski holidays. It was our first time to stay at #24. It was everything the website said it would be. So we were very happy and would come back.

Thanks for the kind words. In addition to keeping our rental properties up to date and in excellent, fully stocked condition, we keep our professional photography up to date, too. What you see on-line is what you get when you arrive !

“Well equiped at a great location”
Reviewed 13 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We stayed at Whistlepunk #24 in late february of 2016. The accommodations were amazing. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 8 beds. The 8 beds were key. Our group was 8 guys, and I was the organizer. I wanted every guy to have their own bed, and no one had to sleep on a couch. So this place was perfect.

The first floor has the kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is directly off of the master bedroom (king). The dining room had a very large wood table. It was great for sitting around to play cards or eat. The living room had a nice TV and dvd player. The DVD player came in handy to watch ski movies from the 80's. Couches were comfortable.

The KITCHEN. Amazingly stocked! Pretty much every cabinet had some kind of pot or pan in it. It's absolutely amazing how many pots and pans and dishes this place had. For plates/cups/silverware, it easily handled 8 guys. Also, the dishwasher worked fine too. So many pots. We brought some cooking dishes from home because we were unsure if the unit would have enough. That was definitely not necessary. Coffee pot and starbucks coffee was provided as well. Nice touch.

2nd floor had 2 more bedrooms and a bathroom.

Also, TONS of firewood available. They even had a group of guys that went around to each unit every day to drop off firewood. The firewood was a little green, so we had trouble getting the fire started. I might suggest you bring one of those firestarter things. but the firewood is a nice touch. Good job Snowshoerealestate!

Parking was good too. It definitely got tight on the saturday and fridya night, but we were able to park pretty much right in front of our unit without major issue. Pro-tip: Even though the bus stop is really close to the unit, if you have someone that does not want to night ski, you can have them just drive you to silvercreek and then drive back to your parking spot right in front of your unit. If you are just dropping off, the silvercreek parking people will just let you go right in without a charge.

other things to note: Yes it was clean (important to a lot of people). Decor was maybe a little "dated", but who cares about that. Location: Walk down stairs, walk 2 buildings. Walk between the buildings. On slopes. Awesome!

Overall, very pleased with the unit. All the guys had a good time, and we plan on doing it again next year.

“Close to powder monkey lift and the village.”
Reviewed 5 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This is our 7th time to snow shoe. We have always been extremely pleased with all of our accommodations. Whistle Punk 24 was no exception. Close to everything and enough room for our entire family.

“Swiss Chalet feel with ski in/out convenience”
Reviewed 17 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Two families, totaling 10 truly enjoyed the accommodations of Whistlepunk 24. Kitchen was well stock. Plenty of firewood. Linens for everyone. Unit is an older one and a little dated, but has a nice cabin type feel to it. it is very clean. About a 5 minute walk to Shavers Center and The Connection Night Club. Only 7-10 minute walk to the Village. The Alpine Italian restaurant is only 2 minutes away. pop your skis or board on behind the unit and off you go! One issue that was frustrating and never fixed during our stay was the long distance phone service did not work. We had Verizon and AT&T cell phones and neither could get a signal in the unit or for the most part anywhere on the mountain. With no reliable cell phone service, the long distance capability, as advertised, needs to be working. The wifi worked well. Definitely bring lots of your own kindling as the firewood are cut in large pieces and very hard to get started without a good kindling fire. The kindling available in the outdoor shed tended to get wet from snow getting inside. One final tip, if you drink coffee, don't forget filters. We would easily recommend this unit to others and appreciate the the property management team.

“Perfect for the families”
Reviewed 16 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Whistlepunk 24 was great for our multiple family ski trip this year. We've stayed at other places at Snowshoe previously, but WP 24 offered the most room and best location for what we needed this year. We had 3 families and it was plenty of room for everyone with the kids having their own bunk bed room. Wood burning fireplace was a plus as well. Great location off the trail and parking right out front. Check in/Check Out was easy, and everything was provided including towels. We'll definitely be back.
