This was our first time at this restaurant. We met family here for lunch at their recommendation and were not disappointed. Both of us had the Moroccan Chicken Burrito. They were well portioned - we ended up taking 1/2 our sandwiches with us with good flavors. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Staff was friendly and yet very professional. Prices were reasonable for the quality which was high. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a casual place to eat in Baraboo. It’s location in the heart of the community next to the Al Ringling Theatre adds to it’s charm.

We picked this restaurant out by accident on a recent trip to Baraboo literally by accident & were beyond surprised. The staff was friendly & the food was very good & affordable. Definitely a place I'd go back to should I ever be back in the Baraboo area.

We really liked the Little Village Cafe. It is an older building on the corner along the town's main street that has decorations and pictures that emphasize the town's history. It does not have its own parking, but the street was not busy and we parked for free a few doors away. The restaurant is neat, clean, and homey in a Happy Days sort of way Service matched the ambience. The menu was inventive, the prices were inexpensive, and the food was excellent. We split a big bowl of ham, celery, and cream cheese soup ($5) and also had a Moroccan chicken wrap ($10, with kalamata olive aioli and, feta, and a very generously sized Veggie Salad with asiago cheese, garlic croutons, and a balsamic vinaigrette ($9). $26 for a really fine lunch is hard to beat. Baraboo isn't exactly in the center of the of the universe, but if you are ever within a few light years of the town, visit the Little Village Cafe. A bonus is you have any young kids, grandkids, etc that you want to spoil is to stop at the really neat toy store, Just Imagine, a few doors away. They had neat things and helped us pick a few for our grandchildren (2, 4, 5 ) that they had a lot of fun with

When we asked locals for a recommendation for a restaurant in downtown Baraboo, the unanimous suggestion was the Little Village Cafe. Conveniently located just across from the square and steps away from the historic Al Ringling Theater, the charming cafe has a loyal following of residents and repeat visitors all of whom agree that the food is consistently outstanding, utilizing locally sourced ingredients. Prices are reasonable. Portions are generous and service is prompt and professional.
