The hospitality is exceptional here. They accommodated our very late arrival. We had the king room with whirlpool tub. The room was huge. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We found the rates to be very reasonable. The breakfast is not much--packaged muffins, instant oatmeal, granola bars and coffee. It was good for a quick start, which was all we actually needed. The lobby was lovely. We didn't get a chance to use the pool. The wi-fi worked very well for us. We are in this area every year and would definitely stay here again.

Overall, this was a pleasant experience. We stayed two nights, Sun-Tue, late August. It was not busy, either in the Lodge or in Boulder Junction, especially at night, so very quiet. It is an older establishment with a north woods decor. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved that there were feather pillows! We had a room that looked out on the back green space. We had access to this space through the outside door in our room. We also had an interior door to access the room. The owners were friendly and pleasant, especially Laura. The pool area and lounge area, where a continental breakfast was provided in morning, were very clean as well. As for breakfast, I would recommend The Outdoorsman (Pearl's Place), across the street for a hearty, reasonably priced breakfast.

Hello Susan,
Thank you for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed the pillows, many guests tell us how much they love them, we have even had a few people take them home. We hope to see you again if you travel through the Boulder Junction area.

Very spacious room, and comfortable, but quite dark; not enough lighting. Also expensive, compared to the amenities. Lodging in the north woods of Wisconsin is expensive. The breakfast was pretty meager. Quiet at night, though bright outside light was too bright.

Hi Virginia,
Thank you for staying with us. We do our best to keep our pricing competitive for the area, but as you note northern Wisconsin is an expensive area to visit, our economy is very tourist driven. We are glad you found the room spacious and quite during your visit. We hope to see you again.

Very friendly staff upon arrival, tastefully decorated lobby and lounge area. Ample parking with a truck and boat/trailer, with easy access to and from the main road. This lodge is located directly on the main street, walking distance to all the shops, food and convenient store. Nice size room with large bathroom space. Fridge only. AC worked as expected. Although dated, room was very clean (even smelled clean) and well maintained considering its age. Bed and pillows were very comfortable! Can access the room through hotel hallway or from the outside (outdoor furniture/grassy lounge area with grill). Did not use the pool or hot tub, but it looked nice. Wi-Fi is available, but I was unable to connect. Possibly too far from lobby.

Room Tip: Room 22, end of hall. Some rooms face grassy area, others face parking lot.

1st time up north with 4 kids, great place, easy going atmosphere. Breakfast was good set with bagels, donuts, and oatmeal. Coffee was great they had my favorite creamer:) French vanilla. Room was spacious, especially loved the back door entrance to the outside and easy access to the pool. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud:) lounge was great to hang with my early risers and lots of games, puzzles and books for anyone's interest.

Hi Valerie,
Sorry to take so long to reply but our summer has been quite busy as I am sure you experienced a few weeks ago. My wife and I are glad you enjoyed the breakfast and are happy we had your favorite creamer. We hope all our guests feel like family while they are here and it sounds like you and your family enjoyed your stay. We hope you will return in the future. Thank you for staying with us.
