Looking for a fun restaurant in downtown La Crosse and we zeroed in on the Dublin Square. The place was crowded so we were given the option of sitting on the enclosed patio which was heated on a cold evening or waiting for an inside table. We took the enclosed patio.
Great waitress and a fun place. The food is ok, but the atmosphere was better than the food. Corned beef was a little on the tough side and the cabbage needed some serious oven time in juice. The Shepherd's Pie could have used some more gravy because it was too dry. My wife had Boxty with potato pancakes which had more pancake than potato. Good beer and wine selection.
Not the best Irish food, but good enough for a return someday.
