The place is a dump but it's being remodeled. Workers were loud until 9:00 p.m. Front desk service was extremely friendly, but bathroom was dirty. Would NOT recommend this hotel - at least not until renovations are complete. Old part of town - not much to do or eat nearby.

Room tip: Ask for a newly remodeled room

I stayed here for an emergency situation, and it was fine. Clean but kinda smelled like smoke despite the no smoking signs, good monthly rates. They went up after my stay though.Kinda inconsistent, some rooms had old microwaves and CRT TV's, others had flatscreens and new microwaves.

This was the perfect place for me, inexpensive, clean, and just a few miles from the event center downtown. As a small business person I don't have extra funds to spend on upscale places. Also, I felt like there was a real effort made to make the place pleasant on limited funds. The young man who checked me in at 10pm was very friendly and helpful. I'll be staying there next year when I do the Holiday Craft Show again.

We just completed a month long cross country trip and this was without a doubt the dirtiest, most disgusting place we stayed at. The room had food on the floor from the .people who were there the night before. When I asked the manager about this he said they were very busy and did not have a chance to vacuum. No chance to vacuum? Wow, in most hotels vacuuming is a standard service and not a luxury. There were cigarette ashes on the end tables despite this being a no smoking hotel. At breakfast the topic of conversation was bedbugs in the rooms. I'd sleep in the parking lot before I'd sleep in a room in this hotel!

I stayed here a couple of nights. Management was rude and I felt, discriminatory too. I usually have no trouble at motels, but I felt they judged me somehow. It was most uncomfortable.

Rooms are ok but nothing special. The management was the main problem. I paid a rate I had booked with Expedia, and then the owners charged me an extra deposit!

Expedia told me if they kept that deposit, there is nothing they can do about it, since the hotel collects it directly - skip this one, and any hotel in Lacrosse which may ask you for an extra deposit. (its highway robbery and I have never experienced this ANYWHERE before)

I do not recommend it. The only thing good was that its right next to Walgreens off of Rose St. in Lacrosse.

Room tip: Ask about the rooms. Ask about everything, because there is no certainty what you will get.
