We traveled from Arizona and weren't sure what to expect. For the price, the hotel was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and quickly responded to requests for extra towels and a hair dryer. The location was a hop, skip and a jump from Sister Bay and the annual fall festival. We had a blast.

Room Tip: If you need a hair dryer, the staff will provide it upon request only.

Our stay was during the Sister Bay Fall Fest.

The good:
The room itself was a good size and very clean. There was a small fridge, in room wi-fi and a microwave available in the breakfast lounge. Continental breakfast is provided daily.

The bad:
There was no hair dryer, iron or ironing board. There were just enough towels provided for the number of persons in the room. Some of us like to have an extra towel or two, but no luck getting any. The owners are a married couple. While the husband was nice and sociable, the wife was stern and not pleasant.

It's unlikely we will be return to this inn as there are many other places to stay that offer better ammenities with kinder staff.

At first, the Inn looks like a 50's drive up motel. However, the new owners have been renovating everything. We made late reservations for our anniversary and it was end of the season at peak festival time. This was one of the few places left. Photos help and we chose the double queen room as I was having back spasms. The room was as spacious as a higher end hotel chain. Hot water when you wanted!! The water was also soft. Quiet, very clean and more reasonable that the others. I would go back.

Room Tip: There are larger rooms in the building outside the drive up units. They are quiet and more spacious.

We stayed at the Sister Bay Inn from 13 Oct - 15 Oct.

We met Vilius when we entered the office and found him very friendly & engaging. He also gave us tips on different restaurants to eat at & how to get there. Check-in was easy and smooth.

Our room (#23) was in the back of the inn, and was very quiet & relaxing. We sat out on the patio just outside the room a number of times and enjoyed the peace & quiet.

The room was very nice & comfortable. It had a small refrigerator, cable tv, desk, coffee maker, & two queen size beds. It was also very quiet.

They also have a small lounge where they have a free continental breakfast to include orange juice, tomato juice, coffee, cereal, bagels & donuts with cream cheese, peanut butter, jams, etc.
A great way to start a morning before exploring Door County!

We also met Alma (Vilius's wife) and found her also very friendly and engaging. This young couple is very hardworking and do all they can to make your visit pleasant & enjoyable and are a positive asset for Door County. We look forward to staying there again on our next trip.

Thank you Vilius & Alma!

Not the fanciest place but nice and a perfect place to stay. Reasonably priced and very clean. There have been some updates and some remain but overall a comfortable and nice place. I would stay here again.

Holly,

To provide our guests with a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay is what we strive for. It's good to hear we succeeded. Thank you so much for the review. We hope you come back again soon to see the upgrades that we will continue to make.
