I loved our stay at Little Harbor Inn. Our view of the lake was beautiful. It was great setting around the fire across the road in the evening. Very enchanting looking across the lake in the evening with a glass of wine and the fire! Wonderful winery (Door44) a few miles away!!
In the morning I had my coffee on the porch and the cherry muffins were to die for!!
I loved our stay at Little Harbor Inn!!! I wished it was for more than just one night. I look forward to returning again!!
The room was also very clean and felt like home.

We went with another couple getting two rooms at the Inn. Room 8 was large and had a refrigerator and sitting area. Room 7 was smaller but still cozy. Breakfasts were brought to your room, on the lighter, actually healthier side, described by Jane at the desk as a protein baked item and fruit. First morning was Oatmeal, Cinamon Roll(not homemade) Juice and Yogurt with Blueberries on it, Second day was French toast (very good grain bread) with Cherry sauce/cherries and 2 links of pork sausage also juice. Coffee is put on around 7 am, but if you want some it is self serve in the gathering room. We wanted to make some one morning a little earlier, but we couldn't find the filters and coffee. I guess they want to make it maybe so it is fresh and monitored. Would be nice to have coffee available in the evening as well, maybe it is, we weren't back until 8 or so most evenings.

The view is spectacular, they have the property with the house on one side and across the street an area on the water with bonfire ring, chairs; and a beautiful view. We spent some time there in the mornings and after a busy day touring this beautiful area.

Would recommend the larger room (8), a little more but worth the difference. Air conditioners that helped keep the rooms less stuffy are a bit noisy, but as in any hotel room, you know when they kick on. Room 8 had more windows being on the end and we kept them open and didn't use the air. Room 7 sits back on the balcony and doesn't get as much air flow so our friends needed to use the air conditioner to sleep comfortably. Our second day, we put the air on while we were gone and that seemed to help our friends sleep better in room 7.

Beds were comfortable, rooms were very nicely decorated and very clean. Gardens were very pretty too!

We didn't see Jane too much after check-in. Not sure if she is owner or management. Since we were gone most of the day that is probably why. Real Estate for sale sign out front on the property line, so we believe it is for sale. When we checked in, we hoped for some insight and a recommendation for one of the Fish Boils the area is famous for, Jane didn't seem to know much about them and simply referred to the "Go Eat" brochure in the gathering room without much further comment. Since this was my first experience at a B & B, I thought there would have been some recommendation for this popular event.

We met some very nice couples there and they made the experience fun discussing where they were going, had been and all sorts of things. The people staying there made the experience more what I expected from a B & B.

FYI - there are no phones in the rooms which isn't a problem if you have a cell phone that gets a signal. We did not have cell service there as it is spotty all over Door County. My friend asked Jane about a phone in case of an emergency and she said the portable phone on the desk is there in case of an emergency. Ok, but we noticed it wasn't there all the time, mostly not there late evening? Fortunately we didn't have any emergencies.

The view and rooms were so nice, even without a little more of a personal touch I would definitely go back for another stay!!!

Room Tip: The larger rooms on the end are roomier and have a small refrigerator and sitting area.

What a beautiful spot. You can cross the road and you're right by the water where there are plenty of chairs to sit and relax. Even a firepit for roasting marshmallows. The inn itself is charming and clean. The breakfasts were such a treat! Staff, especially Laurel, were just great. Hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious and delivered right to our door. Laurel was helpful and very pleasant. Their private beach was a fantastic way to watch the sunset. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

My wife and I stayed at the Little Harbor Inn along with another couple, rooms 4 and 5. This is a very nice gem of an inn. It is very clean, comfortable, pleasant. It has a great view of Green Bay. It is like a giant antique! Some other reviewers seem to have expected a Holiday Inn. This isn't it ... this is an old fashion inn ... that is not a criticism, it is a complement. Lots of atmosphere, very relaxing. There is a bon fire in the evening, right by the shore of Green Bay. There is a fireplace (gas) for warmth, if needed, in the room. Our room had a whirlpool. There is a balcony or porch with chairs, great for eating breakfast in the morning, which comes at 8 am and is included in the price. There are bikes to ride, if you'd like. The road in front is sparsely traveled so not much noise there. The yard is so nicely groomed, lots of plants. The hostess was very friendly, informative, and proactively asking if we needed anything. We spent a good amount of our time sitting in the wooden chairs by Green Bay, watching the heron hunt for fish. Very relaxing. Had a wonderful time. Will go back when we can!

Room Tip: Room 5 is larger than most others, has a whirlpool and fireplace, and upstairs view.
