Can't Thank Pamela Jean enough for a beautiful room and great hospitality.

Room was spacious, clean, and quiet with a view of the water, good coffee maker, and nice soft towels.

Will definitely go back.

What a super place to get away...my husband and I spent 5 nights here at the end of May for our 2nd anniversary, and we expected to use it as a base to explore the Door County peninsula as it was our first visit to the area. Well, we quickly figured out that the peninsula itself (even though the season was just beginning), while special, wasn't even close to how awesome Washington Island is. Truly following "island time" we hiked, biked, picked morels, did some great birding, met friendly fun people, consumed great food and drink, even took in a rainbow on our anniversary evening!, then kicked back with feet up and books in laps, sipping wine and listening to peeper song from our open window, only to wake up with a sunrise view and bright dawn birdsong!, pure pleasure....and to top it all off is of course the host Pam herself, whose calm and engagingly pleasant demeanor made us feel like we'd known her forever

We stayed in the Jackson Harbor room and this was perfect for us---second floor next to the main house, a big comfortable 4 poster bed, front windows that opened to the working Harbor and sunrise, and a side window that opened directly onto the Ridges beach wildlife sanctuary, it couldn't have been better!

The Inn is highly recommended on all counts with comfortable and clean lodging options, access to a shared kitchen, multiple porches and outdoor spots to sit back and relax, quiet, with enough in the immediate area i.e. Jackson Harbor Soup, Jackson Harbor, the Ridges beach wildlife sanctuary to satisfy yet not overwhelm, and then town close by with lots of great places to eat/drink, and enjoy nature, culture, crafts and history. We had such a great time!, such a great place!, and warm thank yous again to Pam!, for creating and maintaining such a treasure

We were there Sept 11,12, 2016. Had stayed one or two times previously. This is a place to completely go "off the grid". You can watch Netflix on your tablet, if you must, but no TV's. Enjoy the scenery. Enjoy the spotless, wonderful rooms and their fabulous decor. Owner Pam lives nearby and is always either present or a quick phone call away. When we left this time, we carelessly left one of our suitcases on the ground near where we had parked. Owner Pamela Jean Young threw it in her car and drove it to where we were lined up to take the ferry back to "the mainland". Out our window, we saw her pulled up along side us to return our suitcase! (God Bless her!). That was at least a 12 mile round trip for her if I remember correctly. Totally above and beyond the call of duty.

Room Tip: Totally quiet rooms on all of our visits.

Great service, Great rooms, Beautiful area. It's a nice getaway from the busy life. no TV, but who wants a TV when the views are that spectacular. We went for a relaxing weekend and my wife wanted me to call into work "sick" for Monday and stay another day.

We could not have found a better place to stay. Beautiful well-kept grounds and buildings which reflects the owner's work and pride. Pam is most gracious and makes you feel completely at home. Our large suite had 2 comfy beds, FP, armoire, patio, private bath, micro & fridge with use of the inn's kitchen in the main building. Excellent wifi, no TV, well-stocked books & games. The Inn is located near the Rock Island ferry (closed for the season.) It's at the opposite end of the island from the mainland ferry, I doubt it's overrun by day tripping cars. We would have stayed longer had the weather not changed. We will certainly return!
